zeroshift, yes it is so I can respawn the nearest possible in case of fail (and I never tried it whithout activating the checkpoint on top of the crane, does it still work ?)

I guess you'd just go back to the checkpoint before that. Can't remember if there's one near it.

Oh and I tried the "Another Huge Skip" and it is really hard to perform and quite unforgiving ifyou messed it up but rewarding if you pull it off
I am still training to get it in just a few trys but man this is exhausting ^^

Yeah, I feel that. I really hate that there's a checkpoint like, two feet away from that ledge that closes the door. I'm wondering if there's any part of the environment in this area that could push you high enough to reach Scylla's office. I highly doubt it though.
No I even tried from the crane glitch, Scylla's office doesn't seem to be there :/
And You can perform the edge glitch in many places in this chapter but I often find myself a little too hight to activate the Trace zone ... sucks :/

On that topic I am having trouble using Livesplit while playing the game cause my binding to start splits is no longer active when the game window is the one active
Anyone would know how to help ?

Make sure the hotkeys are set to global hotkeys, and that you launch livesplit in admin mode.
Okay I see where I was wrong I had the "Deactivate for other programs" option checked on ^^
Thank you it works perfectly now
Heres a REALLY bad quality VOD of my run: http://www.twitch.tv/acefrog/c/2425663

My internet was really bad at the time.. and I paused the timer at one point cause a boss softlocked me.

Once I get time for some full runs I'm going to try to grind for runs with that stupid door, I practiced it for like 2 hours alone over the past few days. Also need to practice Whale's skip. Also still trying to get a kinect to test the rumours that you can skip cutscenes using one. I've heard you can as well on PS3? But does anyone know or is able to confirm or deny this?

I've been playing around with the airwalk skip and I found a skip in episode 1. You have to quit to the main menu and reload though. You can also do Kolvac's falling platform skip from there too Smiley

Also I know I don't do it much in my runs or have mentioned it, but use a charged spammer shot when fighting whenever it's up, it's short and deals roughly the same damage(Or More) as a basic Punch Chain Combo.

Junk Bolt whenever you can?
twitch.tv/deadrobots
Yea I guess that's what it's called. But yea. It takes two 3 hit combos of regular, Strength pressen, Chain pressen. To kill a leaper. However if you jungle bolt you only need to regular strength pressen and they will usually die. So it does a lot of damage. It also works on Skinners. Unfortunately most of the long fights you want to use it robots are involved so it has to be saved for them.
Someone find a one-shot mobs glitch Smiley

I guess so. I'd never really thought about it. I just use it when I don't need it for something important and usually punch them off of platforms when I can
The fact that there are more people finding skips and what not makes me very happy Cheesy

I'm just glad that I found a skip that no-one else found Cheesy
(sorry, keyboard messed up)
Maps would be incredibly useful for the many areas that the camera doesn't follow.

I've been trying to get straight to The Leaking Brain in that chapter (I can never remember the number) where you go down into the sewers by the bar. From the current glitch activation point, it's too high but there are earlier points that are much lower. Only problem is you can see where you're going due to those fixed camera areas.

There could be a huge amount of skips in every chapter that we can't see.

I agree 100%, except for the chance where only parts of each map load. Still, there must be a way in the game files to see the maps.
How about the official strategy guides? They aren't available in NZ but you guys might have more luck finding them. I saw some scans of one but the maps were kind of awful, like someone moved the camera directly overhead really high and just took a snap. Very confusing to look at.

The loading triggers are in the cutscenes. We'd have to do the skip, trigger the cutscene, redo the glitch, trigger cutscene and repeat until we get to the place. You can only do airwalks in certain places. I've been working on a chapter 1 metal boards skip, by doing the airwalk off of the catwalks, but I can't do the glitch. Can someone else try that?

maybe. I guess I could try, but I don't know if it'd work. Still worth a try, right?
One thing I was thinking of when I first began running this game was a massive sequence break by skipping chapters. There is a point in the game where you go past a door which you go through in another chapter? I dont remember exactly where. But I thought if you could somehow clip through it and trigger a cutscene it might work..

I dont know.. it was just random thinking in my head. probably other chapters triggers dont exist at this point.
This is a link to the PDF of the strategy guide, http://www.spumonte.com/files/pdfs/Game%20Guides/Xbox%20360%20Guides/Remember%20Me%20(Official%20Bradygames%20Guide).pdf
Yeah, the map layouts are really shitty lol.

I think I know the part you mean. Those catwalks that you have to activate, the glitch won't work from those. I have no idea why but I spent ages trying it. Also, the bridge just before you drop into that area, there's a swinging bar there and it won't allow the glitch either.

I was able to airwalk from that little room before this area, where you jump to the sign. The camera follows to the bridge then fixes. I could see the door with the metal boards and walked into it but nothing happened.

Yeah those are the maps. So horrible to look at. But we may be able to use them to draw our own.

I guessed it either wasn't possible or I just suck at Remember Me since I couldn't get it lol
I'll go back to looking for more skips soon, just enjoying a bit of Life is Strange, another game by DONTNOD. It's pretty good, but that's for a different forum
Also, I downloaded the PDF, just for offline use and stuff...

Ace I think you're thinking of the door in Chapter 4 that you return to in Chapter 7 or so?
Also maps or wire frames could help, I posted how to get some of the debug information running if anyone wants to take a look at it, I haven't tested yet my friend Olystice just found it. He couldn't find a way to get the wire mesh though.

Where can we find the wire frames and debug information?
