This spring and summer we've seen a pretty large delay in submitted runs being processed and published, many of them reaching an unacceptable level of delay. This time, it's mostly because of me and the lack of my time. Apologies to all the people who have been affected by this.
Part of the reason is that I took up a new position at work back in March that has been demanding a bit more from me, but for the most part it's several other factors that together has made one of the fundamental needs a bit more difficult to achieve. This need I'm talking about is the foundation that brought me to this site in the first place, namely gaming. My time for plain old regular gaming has dwindled during the past year and I found myself in a position where any amount of extra spare time I could find I prioritized getting some gaming done. This means that SDA work suffered from it and became more of a chore.
I took up the position as the master of game pages five and a half years ago and has been enjoying it ever since. That time five and a half years ago, I took over making the pages after Mike who at that point had other things in his life he wanted to pursue. Now it's time for me to hand over the baton to someone else. Someone that can devote the time that this awesome site really deserves.
Please give a big warm welcome to LotBlind who will be joining us on staff, taking over my duties. He has been doing game pages for over a month already, so from now on any questions regarding the pages that were normally sent to me should now be directed to him.
I'm not going to disappear completely, I will still stick around and help out every now and then. The upcoming year maybe less so, as I now also have a wedding to plan together with my soon to be wife. After that I'm hoping to at some point find the time to help out with the site development, something I've wanted to do for years but haven't been able to because of my other duties taking up the time.
Thank you everyone for being awesome members of this community during all this time. You are what makes this archive a place worth preserving!
