I just got a PSP 3000 with firmware 6.60, and a launcher for CFW 6.60-LME by Neur0n. How do I get the damned thing to work? I've tried these so far:

Component - No Red, but works, my capture card won't support it though because BMIP doesn't take the 240p resolution the PSP outputs when playing PS1 games

Composite - Detects A/V cable, but doesn't output. Ideally, I want to get Composite to work and use my Dazzle to capture it, but it's not working like it should be since it's a PSP 3000 and all.

RemoteJoy Lite - Displays XMB but not PS1 games. Unsure about PSP games since I don't have any UMDs handy.

VG? Xarugas? Someone knowledgeable about PSP video capture? Halp? I really don't want to have to resort to using my PSP Go again, because it doesn't get charge battery and output video at the same time =[

I use my AverMedia device to capture. I'm not sure why your other stuff won't work (though RemoteJoy sucked when I used it a long time ago), but there should be no difference between UMD, ISO, or PS1 games in how they output the video.

The reason Component doesn't work is that the output is actually 480p (it has borders which pad it to 480p)

See here for what I mean: http://www.ym2149.com/pics/ff7_crisiscore_psp_20111210112924.png

You would just crop it to 480x272 (the actual resolution of the PSP)

You could buy a component to HDMI converter to capture it (since the BMIP will do 480p on HDMI): http://www.lenkeng.net/Html/Product/LKV5000.html
nvm, the problem was a defective video output.
