I think an unlimited amount of herbs should be allowed, I mean how would you compare a shorter run with more herbs to a longer run with less herbs? And it's hard enough already.

Also I think somebody should find out the minimum handgun bullets it takes in a run.

And I'm pretty sure killing the six knights with a knife is impossible, though I may be wrong. I think flash grenades should be permitted on them.

Use a method something like what I descibed above.  The game puts a value on every item, so a player will not necessarily be punished for having a particular play style.  Say you want to take two hits instead of firing a few bullets; 3 or 4 bullets will cost the same as an herb (IIRC).  That way we won't have to create separate categories for "no healing items used" and "minimum bullets used".  The runner who conserved the most 'money' will have the lowest %, and if two people have the same total, the shorter time wins.

Just picking up an item shouldn't count against you, exempting the second it took to pick it up.

EDIT: Just in case someone gets the crazy idea that they need to use a shotgun or rocket, the cost of every gun used should be added to the total as well.  The extra 150,000 pesotas means it isn't strictly disallowed, but that's hard to make up for  Tongue

I think the original poster was referring to a 'knife-only' run verses a low-percentage run.

If we're talking about doing a 'low-percentage knife-only run on pro mode,' there must be somebody out there good enough to do a sub-2:10 normal weapons run.

Also, about the knights' room: someone at thehandvseye.com did it with a knife, but it took him about 14 first-aid sprays, the tactical vest, and full health.  It was a joke really.  I think a flash grenade should be permitted there (atleast on the first 3).  The 2nd three seemed to die pretty quickly compared to the first.
