Also haven't gotten a good run yet, my current PB is around 1:35 with lots of mistakes. Still aiming for near 1:30 GT before I'm happy enough.

Also Azimuth almost always takes 4 Groovitrons for me, even on V5. I don't know whether the time increases per level, should be tested I think.
Do you chain the groovitrons? I tend not to have them going all the time. Especially when it's nearing the cutscene break which will (obviously) destroy a groovitron if it's deployed.

Also,  if you use shrapnel bombs instead of the negotiator on vorselon 2, the negotiator will be under levelled aswell. Are you suggesting the shrapnel bombs replace the negotiator as a backup weapon/boss killer (before buzz blades)?

No, I still use the Negotiator on those flying enemies (these ones http://ratchet.wikia.com/wiki/Protoguard) since I can get it to V2 by the end of Tombli Outpost. Then you can't use it until the Nefarious Station battles, but you can still 1-shot protoguards with a V2 Negotiator (I prefer to use Negotiator instead of bombs because they are more difficult to hit with bombs).

Then during the next few battles I use Buzz Blades + Negotiator (not bombs since they will take up Negotiator/Buzz Blade ammo) and 3 V3 Groovitrons before the 4th battle (which is in the room before you change to Nefarious). This will (hopefully) be enough to get it to V4 so you have at least 1 more Groovitron for the 4th battle.

Then for the last battle after shooting the asteroids as Nefarious your ammo gets refilled and by then Buzz Blades will be V2 or close to V2, which makes them almost as good as the Negotiator for killing protoguards. So I use bombs on these guys (http://ratchet.wikia.com/wiki/Protomantis) and Buzz Blades on everything else.

Then only Buzz Blades in Gimlick Valley until V5, after which I switch to bombs to kill off the Hydra Tanks much faster. Then only Buzz Blades during Argos fight.

Then during Nefarious battle 3 Groovitrons and only Buzz Blades, and during Azimuth battle 4 chained Groovitrons and Buzz Blades.
Hmm. I did a run yesterday with the shrapnel bombs, and in that 4th room of nefarious station you can kill each of the Protoomantis' quite quickly with the bombs, not needing the groovitron if it didnt level up. Its obviously easier with the groovitron though. Also in that run i ended up using 2 groovitrons on nefarious and 4, like you said on azimuth. The shrapnel bombs saved close to 5 minutes in battleplex alone on my splits, but it was a garbage run i only finished to test out some things.

I played around a bit with the new Vorselon 2 skip and it's actually pretty reliable and definitely much faster than beating Vorselon, so I'm gonna start using it. With the hyperstrike at the base method I even got enough height to hover all the way to generator Alpha behind the barrier lol

I've also found that, after this skip, skipping the first Azimuth cutscene (where he says 'Ratchet, what are you doing?') and then destroying all the generators, freeing Azimuth and going to the Vorselon battle location causes the door before the elevator (with the 3 protoguards behind it) to not open. So no cutscene skips with Azimuth, just land in the hallway with the lasers before Azimuth and you're good.

EDIT: Also after finishing Vorselon 2 there is a 23 second long audio message before the Bernilius Sector is unlocked. In the current route we just wait until it's finished, but we can just visit a moon while we're waiting. The closest moon is Korthos Beta, which is about 5 seconds away. I don't know which moon to skip instead though, I'm currently considering either Vela Alpha or Vela Beta since they both take about as long to finish. For now I'll stick with skipping Vela Alpha since the decrease in overall travel distance from skipping Alpha is bigger than the one from skipping Beta.

But using that skip, like you said you miss out on like 2 1/2 levels on the groovitron glove. Right now the only place that uses 4 is azimuth, so would you just skip using one of them on that fight?

Edit: I timed it, and both vela alpha and vela beta take about the same amount of time (45 sec). Im going to test korthos beta though to make sure its worthwhile.

Double edit: we already get korthos beta in the current route, inbetween krell and battleplex. Im not sure what zoni route your using on this.

Triple edit: we could use korthos delta, which is about 10 seconds away, and takes about 40 seconds to complete, saving about 10 seconds in total. I dont know though, because korthos delta isnt that easy, and is sortof unreliable.
I think i  edited my last post to death, time for another.  We could probably just do korthos beta then instead of before battleplex, as we don't need the zoni until nefarious station (bernilious) saving the 23 seconds that the commentary is going.
twitch.tv/immersed13
I don't know how the Groovitron upgrades will end up, need to do a full run with the new skip to find out. In my previous Zoni route I grabbed a 3rd Zoni on Krell Canyon and I skipped Korthos Beta, so in my current Zoni route I reinclude Korthos Beta but I skip Vela Alpha.
Even if we didnt have the 23 seconds, korthos beta is like one of the fastest moons in the game. It take like 40 seconds, compared to the average 45-50.

You have to factor how far away the zoni planets are away from your main path. So you would start timing the planet when you would start moving towards it instead of moving towards your main destination. So Phylax beta would be a quick one to throw away because you would go off the main path to Phylax beta then double back to go to Phylax alpha taking around 15-20 seconds of travel time.

What are you saying? To use lightning halberds route (3 krell zoni+korthos beta after vorselon 2) but cutting phylax beta instead of cutting vela alpha?

I'm thinking of doing a 100% run real soon. This is my current route so far, if you know of some improvements then let me know!

Some general comments:
- If I say something like 'the normal route', then I'm referring to the route from the any% run.
- Z = Zoni, G = gold bolts, M = constructo mods, R = RYNO V schematics
- The strategy for all sectors is to avoid the battle moons (i.e. the ones that end with Sigma, Tau or Omega) as much as possible early on, but to keep them until after you've beaten the game, since then your weapons will be better
- All space missions have 3 cutscenes: 1st after you talk to the guy who has the mission, 2nd after you accept the mission and 3rd after you have done the mission. For all missions the 1st cutscene can't be skipped and the 3rd cutscene can be skipped. The 2nd cutscene can only be skipped when the mission starts on a depot or on a moon (except for Korthos Alpha mission 1); if the mission is started in outer space then it's not skippable
- I will try to include all skips for all moons that I know of in brackets (for cheat sheet purposes during runs)
- The superjump is what I like to call the double jump with hoverboots while boosting (such as for the Valkyrie Citadel skip)
- This run completes these requirements:
1) Get all collectibles
2) Complete all space missions
3) Complete all Battleplex tournaments
4) Get the complete RYNO V
5) Visit the Insomniac Museum in the Corvus Sector

1) Great Clock 1
The normal route

2) Zolar Forest - 3Z, 2G, 1M
The normal route plus getting all collectibles, except you don't have to skip the slo-mo puzzle before rescuing the 3rd child (because of some collectibles). You can't get the first gold bolt because you need hoverboots (haven't tried getting it without them), so you need to revisit Zolar Forest for it. It's also slightly faster to grab the gold bolt after fixing Aphelion with hoverboots, so I save it for the revisit
-> Buy bombs

3) Vorselon's Warship 1 - 1R
The normal route, Hangar skip and Detention Wing skip are allowed

4) Great Clock 2 - 1G
The normal route

5) Molonoth Fields - 2Z, 2G
Skip to the 1st catapult can be done. Skip to the 2nd catapult can also be done. Can skip the battery bot section. Can skip activating the 1st and 2nd hoverboot challenges from Azimuth.
There is one gold bolt near the start which requires you to fix the time anomaly in GC, there is one ryno v part right before the Hollow which you need Omnisoaker for. You can get it earlier with just the hoverboots by jumping on a pipe near the giant robot head, but if you that during the 2nd Zoni chase, then the Zoni may disappear for some reason. So just get the gold bolt/ryno v part on the revisit. Also getting the mod in the Hollow is faster with Hoverboots, so get it on the revisit

6) Vela Sector 1
1) Vela Delta - 1Z [From the 4th big platform: jump on the blue lamp in the close right corner, then superjump to the hot platforms on the right]
2) Vela Alpha - 1Z, 1G [First get the Zoni, then from that platform long jump to the platform with the gold bolt]
Then go to Axiom City

7) Axiom City - 3Z, 1R
You can do the 1st Zoni skip. You can do the 2nd Zoni skip before the Spaceport (it skips chasing the Zoni around, so it's always better than not doing it). You can do the Neurox Plaza skip. You can do the Pollyx Industries skip. You can do the skip before the 2nd/3rd phase of the VX-99.
There is 1 gold bolt in the Neurox Plaza fountain, which requires you to fix the time anomaly. In Pollyx Industries there is also 1 gold bolt (which you need to get on the 2nd visit to Axiom City) and 1 mod (which the Pollyx Industries skip skips), which we get on the revisit. There is one mod directly to the left at the start which you can get faster on the revisit.
-> Buy Mr. Zurkon

8) Great Clock 3 - 1G
The normal route

9) Libra Battle
Just finish off Libra

10) Krell Canyon - 4Z, 5G, 2M, 1R
This is a fun level to route in the 100% run. You can do the Odin caves skip, since all collectibles that you skip require the omnisoaker anyways. Then you can do the Battle skip. Then grab all collectibles in the Canyon. Then get the OmniSoaker and grab all collectibles in Vogal caves. Then go back to Odin caves, but the bridge hasn't been built yet, since we skipped it. However you can do a similar jump to the Valkyrie Citadel skip to jump over it. Then collect the 2 collectibles in the Odin caves, then suicide right after in the termites, which reloads you just after the bridge and it rebuilds the bridge for you. This is good, since it makes the jump to and from the gold bold near the bridge a lot easier.

11) Korthos Sector 1
1) Start Korthos Depot mission 1 (for the 'Find an OmniGasket' mission)
2) Korthos Alpha - 1Z, 1G [Go to the right to get in between the Zoni's path]
3) Start Korthos Alpha mission 1
4) Korthos Gamma - 1Z [Superjump over the first set of hot platforms (burn your butt on the last one), then superjump over the 2nd set of hot platforms (burn your butt on the last one), then long jump over the gap, then get full health, then superjump over the 3rd set of hot platforms (burn your butt on the last 3 platforms)]
5) Destroy holo-boards near Korthos Gamma, Zanifar, Battleplex
Then go to Battleplex

12) Battleplex Bronze Cup - 1Z, 1M, 1R
The normal route

13) Tombli Outpost - 2Z, 1G, 1M, 1R
The normal route and grab all collectibles

14) Vorselon's Warship 2
You can skip the 1st hangar battle and the Vorselon 2 fight. Then do the normal route to the end.

15) Korthos Sector 2
1) Korthos Beta (during the dialogue after Vorselon 2) - 1Z, OmniGasket [After opening the barrier around Aphelion go right, use tank to jump over barrier. After you get the Zoni go left to get the OmniGasket]
2) Korthos Omega - 1M
3) Junk Hauler mission
4) Korthos Depot mission 1
5) Start Korthos Depot mission 2
6) Korthos Delta - 1Z [Go forward, then at the 1st teleporter use boxes on the left to get on top of lamp, then long jump to the platform with the Zoni]
7) Finish Korthos Depot mission 2: move holo-board near Korthos Delta, then the one near Zanifar/Battleplex
Then warp to Phylax Sector

16) Zolar Forest Revisit - 2G
Skip Great Clock 4. Then after you land on Zolar Forest: get the gold bolts near Aphelion and near the first bridge using the hoverboots, then leave to Phylax Sector

17) Phylax Sector Complete!
1) Terachnoid mission
2) Phylax Depot mission
3) Phylax Beta - 1Z [Long jump from Aphelion to the island behind it]
4) Phylax Sigma - 1G
5) Smuggler mission [Use Satellite glitch]
6) Phylax Alpha - 1Z, 1G [No skips]
7) Phylax Gamma - 1Z [Long jump to island to the right of Aphelion]
8) Phylax Tau - 1M
Then warp to Bernilius Sector

18) Carina Battle
Just finish off Carina

19) Valkyrie Citadel - 2Z, 3G, 1M, 1R
First the old skip to after the 2nd training course (http://www.twitch.tv/cheesypoofss/c/2844394?t=1h56m44s). Then do the battles right after to get the Zoni, and go right to get the mod. Then before the 3rd training course: skip to the left first to get the gold bolt and the RYNO V part, then suicide, then again back before the 3rd course skip to the right and all the way to the end. Then just before Cassiopeia teleport back to Aphelion and get the Zoni and 2 gold bolts before you enter the citadel. Then leave to Bernilius Sector
-> Buy Buzz Blades and Groovitron

20) Bernilius Sector 1
1) Start Smuggler mission
2) Bernilius Gamma - 1Z, 1G [No skips]
3) Bernilius Alpha - 1Z, 1G [After you jump up to the highest moving platforms, simply long jump to the platform with the jump plate to the Zoni]
4) Destroy satellite near Bernilius Alpha [Use Satellite glitch]
5) Destroy satellite near Depot [Use Satellite glitch]
6) Destroy satellite near Bernilius Tau [Use Satellite glitch]
7) Bernilius Tau - 1M
Then go to Nefarious Space Station

21) Nefarious Station
Do the normal route WITH Valkyrie Citadel skip (faster than beating Cassiopeia in Valkyrie Citadel). You don't need to collect the Zoni and the Mod near Aphelion yet, it's slightly faster to do this after Gimlick Valley.

22) Gimlick Valley - 1Z, 1G, 1R
Do the normal route, until near the very end when you have to get the battery bots in their sockets. Then also get all collectibles
-> Buy Rift Inducer and Plasma Striker

23) Nefarious Battle - 1Z, 1M
First collect the Mod and the Zoni near Argos' ship, then take the transport. You can do the skip right before the Nefarious battle; this skips a ryno v part, but you can easily get it using the teleporters later on. Then do the fight as normal

24) Azimuth Battle
The normal route

25) The End? - 1R
After beating Azimuth, continue to the end screen and choose the left option. Then in Nefarious Station, use teleporters to get the ryno v part near where the Nefarious battle starts. Then go back to Great Clock Sector 5, then immediately go to Sector 1

26) Great Clock 1 Revisit - 1G
Fix the time anomaly, then get the gold bolt. Then because reloading the save file is not allowed: finish the level again (since the first teleporter can't be accessed from that point), then use last teleporter to go to Sector 2

27) Great Clock 2 Revisit - 1G
Finish the bonus time puzzle in the Mnemonic Chamber to get the gold bolt. The go to the end of the level and teleport to Sector 3

28) Great Clock 3 Revisit - 1G
Finish the bonus time puzzle in the Mnemonic Chamber to get the gold bolt. Use the teleporter near the orientation room to go to Sector 4

29) Great Clock 4 - 3G
Do the normal route in the glitched version of Great Clock 4. Use the final teleporter to go to Sector 5

30) Bernilius Sector Complete!
From Great Clock Sector 5 go to the Nefarious Space Station, then immediately leave to the Bernilius Sector. Then do:
1) Bernilius Delta - 1Z [No skips]
2) Convoy mission
3) Bernilius Sigma - 1M
4) Bernilius Beta - 1Z [Stand on one of Aphelion's wingtips, then superjump to the island that contains the jump plate to reach the Zoni]
Then warp to Molonoth Fields

31) Molonoth Fields Revisit - 1G, 1M, 1R
Get the gold bolt from the crashed ship after fixing the time anomaly. Then warp to the Hollow and get the mod, then get the Zoni near the entrance. Then leave to the Vela Sector

32) Vela Sector Complete!
1) Vela Sigma - 1M
2) Go to Vela Depot to activate Vullard Towing mission
3) Vela Beta - 1Z, 1G [After the first 3 hoverboot jumps: long jump right to get the gold bolt, then suicide. Then long jump over the gap in the direction of the Zoni]
4) Vela Tau - 1G
5) Vela Gamma - 1Z, 1G [Go to the left to get in between the Zoni's path]
6) Vela Epsilon - 1Z [Skip getting the 2nd battery bot by long jumping over the gap]
7) Vullard Towing mission
8) Vela Depot mission
9) Warp Drive mission
Wait until you see the mission complete screen for Warp Drive mission, then warp to the Battleplex

33) Battleplex Silver Cup - 1Z, 1G, 1M
Finish the Silver Cup

34) Battleplex Gold Cup - 1Z, 1G, 1M
Finish the Gold Cup

35) Battleplex Raritanium Cup - 1Z, 1M, 1R

4) Korthos Sigma - 1M
Then warp to Axiom City

37) Axiom City Revisit - 2G, 2M, RYNO V
First warp to Pollyx Industries and get the mod and the gold bolt. Then get the RYNO V in the spaceport. Then go to Neurox Plaza to get the gold bolt from the fountain. Then go back to Aphelion using the taxi, but enter using the Plasma Striker scope. Then jump off hear the end to get the mod. Then leave to the Korthos Sector.

38) Corvus Sector Complete!
Warp to Corvus Sector
1) Start Corvus Depot mission
2) Corvus Tau - 1M
3) Destroy 50 ships near Corvus Beta satellite
4) Corvus Beta - 1Z, 1G [Get water with OmniSoaker, then use plant to jump on platform. Then jump on lamp on the left using Clank high jump, then superjump over gap. Skip the 1st and 2nd battles by superjumping over the gaps. Do the 3rd battle, then take the first set of moving platforms going left, wait approx. 15 seconds and long jump to get the gold bolt, then suicide. Then go to 4th battle, skip it by longjumping over the gap and get the Zoni]
5) Snookiebear mission
6) Corvus Alpha - 1Z [No skips]
7) Corvus Sigma - 1G
Then go to Vorselon's Warship

39) Vorselon's Warship 3
Defeat Vorselon 3, then from Aphelion leave to the Corvus Sector

40) Insomniac Museum
Land on the Insomniac Museum in the Corvus Sector. Then time stops immediately after the Insomniac Museum is loaded. Pause immediately to check the game time.
I dont know if its just me, but I feel like all collectibles would be more interesting than 100%, if you include missions in 100%. Not being able to use a lot of the skips of the game (especially in axiom city) just makes it needlessly long. Using some of the known techniques in the game to possibly get some of the collectibles faster/earlier might be neat too. (I have a theory I want to test about getting the third zolar gold bolt early).

I think all collectibles can be a seperate category, but missions should be in 100%. Missions (especially the optional ones) are a pretty big part of the game, so it would be weird if they weren't in 100%, and it would be a shame if no category included them at all.

EDIT: I just did an Any% run with all the new strats (skipping Phylax Beta, new Vorselon 2 skip, Korthos Beta after Vorselon 2) just to see how the final battles end up. It turns out it's actually better to skip Vorselon 2 because you then enter the Nefarious Station battles with a V1 Groovitron which get upgraded really quickly from V1 to V2 and V2 to V3, and when you upgrade you regain all your ammo. So this means you have a lot more Groovitrons to spend.

Also I initially thought that V5 Groovitron and V5 Buzz Blades are necessary for optimal Nefarious & Azimuth battles, but I did the battles with a V4 Grovitron and V4 Buzz Blades and it turned to work just fine. It's even possible to skip the second wave of enemies (the dropships) during the 2nd phase of the Nefarious Battle with both weapons at V4.
Well that is definitely good to know. I might do some more runs with that route later. When do you purchase the groovitron glove, if you skip vorselon 2? Do you just buy it at the same time as you buy the buzz blades?

Yeah at the same time, so at that point you need at least 70000 bolts.

I just finished the first complete run of 100% in 6:22:13 RT, 5:23:52 GT. I paused a lot to take notes or for breaks, so it's not an actual single segment run. I also took time to test some things such as Clank sections and some moons, and most of the battles/skips went poorly. So my first official run will probably be a 4:xx:xx RT.

The weapons that I'll use in my run are:
- Bombs (buy in Zolar Forest)
- Mr. Zurkon (buy in Axiom City or Molonoth Fields)
- Groovitron + Buzz Blades (buy at the same time in Vorselon's Warship 2)
- Rift Inducer (buy in Gimlick Valley just before the first battle when you buy full ammo) -> helpful on Battleplex and during Vorselon 3 fight

Also I found out that Neurox Plaza CAN be skipped, so that means all any% skips in Axiom City are in 100% Smiley

EDIT: Also I think the route as it is in my previous post will not be changing that much or at all. The space sections are close to optimal, this route gets all collectibles and all missions, and the order of the sections is also optimal. Only if the first gold bolt in Zolar Forest can be grabbed without hoverboots, then the Zolar Forest Revisit section will be removed, but as far as route changes goes that's it.

EDIT 2: Here is how you can quickly check for the 100% requirements after beating a run:

1) In the pause menu there is a mission list on the right. The only 2 missions that should be unchecked are 'Stop General Azimuth at all costs!' and 'Confront and destroy Dr. Nefarious'. If it is not the case, then one or more missions which have been started have not been completed; if it is the case, then that means that all missions except for the space missions (which are started manually) have been completed
2) On the galactic map the collectible count under the sector names should show x/x for all collectibles, and the Great Clock icon should say 'Completed'
3) To show that the manually activated missions are completed, go to each sector. Then these missions should appear on the missions list and they should be checked off:

Phylax:
- Clean up irradiated asteroids
- Tow Terachnoid's ship to the Phylax Depot
- Destroy Dr. Nefarious' ships

Vela:
- Tow the Vullard ship
- Retrieve core sample from comet
- Collect warp drive components

Korthos:
- Find an OmniGasket
- Escort Ortax the Merciless
- Tow the junk hauler home
- Destroy the holo-boards
- Hide the holo-boards
- Set up the holo-boards

Bernilius
- Defend the Terachnoid convoy
- Destroy 3 spy satellites

Corvus
- Destroy 50 ships
- Help introduce Warlock and Snookiebear

EDIT 3: I also found a nice trick with which you can kill satellites without alarming them. After you get the Swarm Rockets (which you need 30 Zoni for) you have to approach the satellite very slowly until the red crosshairs appear around it. Then one shot of the rockets is enough to kill them. It only seems to work with the Swarm Rockets since they have longer range than the other ones. But the only place where you actually have to kill satellites without killing the ships around it is with the Smuggler mission in the Bernilius Sector, and by that time in the route you only have 23 Zoni, so it's pretty useless Tongue

Did you measure how much time that trick would save, if any. To determine if pushing it back to when you get the swarm rockets would be worth it.

Edit: i havent done many of the space missions, can you push back the smuggler mission at all?

I think I made a mistake while testing this the first time, because it does seem to work with other missiles and also with regular shots. You must simply first get into the satellite's range and let him notice you, then get back out of its range until he stops noticing you, and then go back again and approach him on the edge of his range at which point you can shoot him with whatever you like (as long as you stay out of its range)

I finally have some time to record a no reset single segment run of 100% in a couple of hours Smiley Still can't stream because of internet issues, so I'll post it on yt as usual.
Well thats good, it should save some time. Im interested in seeing the run once you are done.

There is a glitch involving the activation and completion of missions in the missions screen which is pretty annoying. Basically, for the test run that I did a while ago I checked if all missions were checked off or not. It turns out that some missions that should be activated automatically weren't on the list and some missions weren't checked off as completed even though I clearly completed them. The missions were:

Not activated: 'Explore all moons', 'Seek out inhabitants for missions' (should be activated right after completing Vorselon 1) and 'Free Zahn Gribnak' (should be activated right at the beginning of the Gimlick Valley battle)
Not completed: 'Complete the Bronze Tournament' in Battleplex (even though I have completed it)

If some missions are not checked off when they should, then you would need to show in the run that the requirements for that mission have been done. You can't easily check whether some missions have not been activated since if they haven't been activated then they can't be completed either. So because of these glitches the quick approach for checking whether all automatic missions have been completed can't be done, and you would need to go through all planets to see whether the missions there have been activated or not (and there are 119 missions to check), and if not, then you must show in the run that the requirements for that mission have been done, which is pretty stupid.

So basically this glitch makes doing all missions incredibly tedious to check (and I mean around 30 minutes of work in the worst case scenario).

But we can still easily define this category without the inclusion of all missions, while still requiring the player to do about everything that all missions would have done. So therefore I say that these are the new 100% requirements.

1) Get all collectibles
2) Complete all space missions
3) Complete all Battleplex tournaments
4) Get the complete RYNO V
5) Visit the Insomniac Museum in the Corvus Sector

The 5th requirement means you must beat Vorselon 3, which unlocks the Insomniac Museum planet in the Corvus Sector. The Insomniac Museum itself gets unlocked if you get all Zoni, but this would skip Vorselon 3. These requirements would also mean that some skips such as Krell Canyon and Tombli Outpost battle skips can now be done.

EDIT: Added the RYNO V requirement
That sounds like a more reasonable set of guidelines. I may take a look at it at a future date. You said that the run would take about 4 hours?
Also, for any%, the new route means we skip phylax beta, grab 3 zoni in krell, skip the vorselon 2 fight, grab korthos beta after vorselon 2, and buy both buzz blades and groovitron at nefarious. While nothing else changes.

I just did a SS run with the new requirements in 4:21:54 GT, 5:31:26 RT. Last time the RT-GT difference was an hour and now it's 10 minutes more, so that shows just how much time loading times can add. I made a lot of mistakes, so getting sub 4 GT is possible. Right now I would say this category is a 5 hour game, not 4 hours.

Also just to add: in my splits I beat Azimuth in 3h26m and I go from Azimuth to Insomniac Museum in 2h05m

Did some glitch hunting today and I found some fun stuff.

If you visit Great Clock sections 2, 3 and 4 after skipping them, then you enter a glitched version of these sections. The glitched sections have some changes:
- Section 2: The door before the first time-pad puzzle is closed and can't be opened.
- Section 3: All doors are open, except for the time pad puzzles, so you still need to do them. The doors and platforms which open/appear after you clear all the enemies in a room are all open/there. The Mnemonic Chamber leads to the bonus time puzzle instead of the tutorial section with Orvus.
- Section 4: All doors are open, except for the Planet Fastoon room door before the final gold bolt. The doors and platforms which open/appear after you clear all the enemies in a room are all open/there. The Mnemonic Chamber leads to the bonus time puzzle.
So this means that in 100% you can skip sections 3 and 4 since doing the glitched versions is clearly much faster. I'll update the 100% route post using these skips.

Reloading the game save file costs 0 in-game time, since the time in the pause menu and the loading screen doesn't count as game time. So in certain places the reload position is close to the next location on the route (for example very often the reload point is near Aphelion, which is the next location after grabbing a collectible on all moons), so for game time it is faster to reload the save file than to go to the next location the normal way. This is helpful in a lot of places in both Any% and 100% and it would save a bit of game time (even though it might be slower on average in real time due to loading screens). This changes the current Any% and 100% routes quite a bit. Though I think it's better if we donit allow reloading the save file in all categories since else ACIT would just become loading screens: the game.

If you grab a collectible and then reload a save file, then it might happen that the game hasn't registered that you grabbed that collectible. As soon as you see the saving icon in the bottom left the game also saves all collectibles that you have found up to that point, so from that moment you can reload the save file and the game still registers the collectible that you have collected.

EDIT: I think since we're getting all ryno v schematics anyways it seems weird that we don't get the complete ryno v also, so added it to the requirements. It doesn't add much to the route, it just means we have to revisit Axiom City after the Raritanium Cup.

EDIT 2: Just attempted a new 100% run but it failed about 4 hours in when I found out that fixing the time anomalies in the glitched Great Clock 3 doesn't actually remove the barriers around the gold bolts on Molonoth Fields and Axiom City. So I guess Great Clock 3 can't be skipped.

I was talking with some of the people in the R&C speedrun skype group (i can see if you can get added later, if you want) and we had decided that we would dissallow loading the save. Just because reloading a save would make it have to be timed as an RTA, and you said yourself how much the loading times can fluctuate. I can talk to them again about it later though (or add you, and you can present your case) if you feel differently about this.
Edit: sorry, didnt see that you said to disallow them aswell. I guess we all feel the same about it.
