Was wondering if anyone else has been running this. It seems to be extremely suitable for speedrunning, so I was suprised to find no existing speedruns.

If no-one knows about this game, it's a typical child's platformer, in the Rayman Raving Rabbids series. It's odd in the way that, provided you pick up enough "stuff" (think somewhat like star-bits or coins), you can skip many levels.

Every level has 1 XL item (worth "600m"), and 400 XS items (worth "400m"). The complete the game, you need 23,000 overall.

My current route is to get as much stuff as possible (often 900-950m), which allows me to skip a whole section of levels.

My first run produced a time of 3h34m, which isn't good, considering my amount of deaths. With my current route, I'd say sub 3 hours is definately possible.

The PC version eliminates the progression system, with all levels available from the start, but also has under half the levels, thus would probably need a seperate category.

Posted this wondering if anyone else is currently running this game, so we can find an optimal route.

Well... I did play through this game recently to try and find glitches and stuff and I did end up finding ways to skip quite big sections of some levels(most skips were really hard tho) Those would make it possible to get ~700 free stuff per skip(because of XL stuff) in a very small amount of time. Altough I only played it on Wii so it might not work on PC.

As routing goes, I think your strategy of getting as much stuff per stage is good and in the Wii version 2 controllers/players is really useful for this since the second controller can pickup XS items from far away and in places that take a long time getting to.

Probably the first time I've found someone that has actually played or even heard of this game! Can you describe/record some of these skips? I haven't found many, me and my brother haven't found any major skips. Looking to get moderator on the RGH speedrun.com leaderboard, so I can start working on that.

Atm I think we should have 3 categories:

Any%
All Missions
100% (even though an 100% run would be 1) boring 2) long)

I'll try and go through everything I found so I can give some good instructions for the skips (hopefully videos).

Just one question though, do you play on Wii or PC because as you said, there are some big diffrences in them.
Wii, currently.

The PC version was only released in like 4 countries, and I am unable to track down a copy.

I found a skip that simple enough for me to be able to record while doing it.
The skip is in the level Hold up in the hangar.
