I am trying to perform the same run located on this site (it's a Jill run) and am able to do everything correctly up until a certain point.  After you leave the Residency, there is an area in the mansion where you have to get a red jewel out of a deer head on the wall(You have to turn off the light and stand on a table if that helps).  Now, the person doing the run just grabbed it, no prob, but in my game the jewel is stuck and can't be removed.  What gives?

Did you press the light switch?

Also, the moving statue must not be looking in the direction of the jewel, that locks it in place.

Yep. The Eagle that's mounted on the wall follows your character around. You have to loop around the room so you can grab the gem while it's trying to move to look at you.
