really cool example. thanks for posting it. i'm attaching it to this post so people reading this thread in the future can see it. only thing i can say about the crt image is there's a bit of rainbowing on the portrait frame (for example to the lower left and lower right of mega man's head). i don't think this rainbowing is intended because the vertical parts (left and right sides) of the portrait frame have those same black lines, without rainbowing obviously because they are horizontal. it's weird. drawing matching horizontal and vertical features so close to one another like this is an odd choice on the part of the artist. maybe the frame was done quickly (a placeholder) and meant to be replaced with something better later on. iirc rockman 3 was one of the more badly rushed rockman games.
