I hope it's OK to post three tests in one thread, I wanted to cover the three most common scenarios I'll get when streaming Amiga games:

Type: Final Encode
OS: Windows 11 22H2
Capture Hardware: OSSC 1.7 + Elgato HD60S
Capture software: AmarecTV (with OBS also running, doing simultaneous capture for streaming)
Encoding: Yua F1/D4

Game 1: Shadow of the Beast (Amiga) - NTSC
LQ: https://mega.nz/file/KXpCgZqL#11ifddMiu03wkJhabF5GkpUxgr6ILo8bmgbuABHzt34
MQ: https://mega.nz/file/KXpCgZqL#11ifddMiu03wkJhabF5GkpUxgr6ILo8bmgbuABHzt34
HQ: https://mega.nz/file/Sb43zTpS#gcX-XuRUuMyghEAVwlhPC9a1UOm3tWMNgp2VKCuUh40
Raw: https://mega.nz/file/7eBkEZab#8yQ6EJPHxWDFDCcj3BzSmYouwzKwUBemEGESi7QB2iw

NTSC version of the Psygnosis classic. There's also a PAL version, but for some reason my copy is NTSC

Game 2: Base Jumpers (Amiga) - PAL
LQ: https://mega.nz/file/7eBkEZab#8yQ6EJPHxWDFDCcj3BzSmYouwzKwUBemEGESi7QB2iw
MQ: https://mega.nz/file/OHYSBZha#PHg_0tv-kTSCEWX4REJtudXTsmRfboSaOVQMCwjB1IQ
HQ: https://mega.nz/file/OHYSBZha#PHg_0tv-kTSCEWX4REJtudXTsmRfboSaOVQMCwjB1IQ
Raw: https://mega.nz/file/2SpUnQwK#2QWzCYcjYLzrhlvIBzrCZ7Nfrr0VWbsJFTLGeEZHNo4

Full PAL resolution game

Game 3: Lemmings (Amiga) - 240p50 (PAL but letterboxed to NTSC resolution
LQ: Yua said wasn't needed
MQ: https://mega.nz/file/Hfp2naTC#ck-9zLijL0LDTPkDHpyXdcvThWzHtPbwvmA5cW3i5nQ
HQ: https://mega.nz/file/jWpXTQjC#ZFkxQgVG8AaflNASVdKsUfVJVODtdIf_FZpUbk80lx8
Raw: https://mega.nz/file/SfJGjajJ#399J1vx-3jdCnpaUeNInFyBpD1rZ6OSB12X7bL17FII

This is the weird one, recorded as PAL, but with Amarec set to crop the bottom 96 pixels as the Amiga letterboxes by putting all the empty space at the bottom when devs make a PAL game in an NTSC resolution to make a possible NTSC port easier

Note: All of these are WHDLoad versions. I'm not sure if that's acceptable for real runs.
Thread title:
first off it looks like the shadow of the beast mq link is actually lq. also the base jumpers hq is actually mq. having said that, we are looking good here except that you need to encode these games as 2d (click the 2d radio button in yua). this changes the framerate decimation paradigm from hq/mq/lq f1/f2/f2 to f1/f1/f3. this is needed because like at 0:53 in the sotb video you can see f1 blinking that causes the sprite to disappear when the video is played at f2.

usually the way it's done around here is it's up to community standards/consensus. but if it doesn't affect times then there's almost no chance it would invalidate the run.
Ahh, sorry about mixing up the links, that's what I get for trying to get the uploads done at midnight cos I want to go to bed, plus all the Mega URLs looking the same.

I didn't know that the 2D button did, so left it alone, will enable that.

Now I just gotta post quality tests from my (finally working) BBC Micro, and I can get to doing some actual runs!
