A few notes:
1. Yes, the colors are supposed to look like that Smiley Lucasfilm fudged their composite support in this game.

2. That said, CGA composite out is a weird beast. Even the games that employ a better palette (like the AGI version of King's Quest I) under composite mode still produce fuzzy images.

3. The sound was recorded with a microphone placed next to the PC speaker. There seems to be no background noise, other than the gentle hum of machine itself.

4. This is the entire run (6 minutes and 51 seconds) from the second I get control of Dave (~0:03) until the second the Edsel takes off (~6:54).

If this looks good, I'd love to get this verified. At 6:51, I think it is the fastest "official" PC run. I say "official" because there's a billion versions of Maniac Mansion for the PC (the original chunky one from 86, this one from 89, the chunky one included with DOTT), let alone runs done within DosBox or ScummVM.

Thanks in advance!
Matt McGrath

looking ok so far but you need to select one of the 1-pixel d4 filters instead of no change. that's why it's bobbing.
Nate, you're amazing. Thank you! I'll go ahead and re-encode with yua in the next few minutes, make sure there's no bobbing, and re-upload it.

So, Nate, if I could bother you again...this looks perfect to me (at least no more bobbing)...so please let me know your thoughts.

looks good to me.
I have one last silly question. I've checked a few of the guides, but I don't know how to submit this for verification. I looked at the Verification board, but it seems like the majority of posts are created by Flip, and they also seem to have been already verified/not-verified as there are comments made by verifiers in those posts.

Nate, you've been a huge help during this entire process. I can't thank you enough.
