Hey Ho Let's Go
I'm setting up a series of interviews, mostly with some of the oldtimers, but I'll probably also end up interviewing some of the newer runners as well.

These are the questions I have so far, but feel free to add to that list.

- Tell us a bit about yourself: What's your name, your residence, your ocupation, etc.
- What got you involved in speedrunning?
- Do you still read SDA?
- Do you still play Quake? Do you remember the very first time you played Quake?
- What other games, if any, do you play these days?
- Would you ever consider a comeback to the speedrunning scene?
- Did you ever try a comeback, but failed miserably? :-)
- Why did you quit speedrunning?
- Are you still talking to anyone from the speedrunning scene?
- Do you ever re-watch any of the Quake done Quick movies? If so, which?
- What era was speedrunning in when you started? (i.e. what projects were released, which techniques were discovered, etc.?)
- Have you met any speedrunners in real life? And are you still meeting from time to time?
- Do you have a favorite demo from yourself? From someone else?
- Do you have a favorite player, and if so, who? Tell us why you rate him over the rest.
- What do you think about todays speedrunners, i.e. their style, their speed, etc.?
- Did you come up with any trick or important technique that's still important today?
- What do you think of today's SDA site, as compared to how it was in the old days?
- Do you have a favorite memory from speedrunning? It can be anything!
- For nostalgic reasons, could we get you to record a demo on e1m1, an easy run...? ;-)
Thread title:
I'd love to see that!  Grin

This reminds me, some time ago (> 1 year) I sent one of those "Player Profile" things, but it was never put on the site. It should be pretty outdatted by now =p

Anyways, I suggest this question for the interviews:
Is there something like a demo that you never got around shaving the last decimals, a trick that you came close but never actualy pulled off, a marathon that you almost got, but died in the final maps, that you wish you had acomplised? Some speedruining work you never really finished, but seemed promising?
(You can probably phrase it better :P)
Hey Ho Let's Go
Here's our first interviewee in our QuakeSDA series of interviews, and we're starting out with Mr. SDA, Nolan 'Radix' Pflug himself.
