Some bloopers videos of Quake might be interesting. Just to see what can go wrong, since Quake runs always have this TAS-like perfection.

Occasionally runners submit 'egg' demos along with new records which contain one or more silly happenings/deaths/etc. I guess it wouldn't hurt to AVI a few of these.

Here's one I did a while ago. The video quality isn't amazing.

See-Saw? Cheesy Wouldn't something like Iron Maiden be a better fit with Quake?

Actually I think those clips were from the Easy Run... trying to do that grenade jump on Nightmare is a lost cause. Now I don't even use a grenade, I just hope the earthquake will push me over. That level is one of the most punishing, random things you will ever play, so speedrunning it leads to a whole new world of frustration. I used to have the record on all 4 characters but a certain Finn decided to remove that honour. I'll get it back some day.
