I know I can download the Youtube video, but is there any chance the original proper encoded video will be uploaded somewhere? Anyway, nice work! Quake is hardcore and you guys make it look so easy.
quadrazid: That page doesn't link to a download location for that particular video.
I know there's a link somewhere on the web, but I can't seem to find it just now. I've been asking around to see if anyone could provide me with a server or something big enough to upload ALL the Quake done Quick videos in .avi format. I have them all on my HD. I think it adds up to about 29 GB or so in total. I think people would appreciate being able to download all the Quake videos instead of having to stream them (or let alone view the .pak files), and seeing as the Quake portion of the site has died completely, this would be my absolute final action as SDA updater. So far I haven't been able to find anymore willing to provide me with that much online storage space though.
Well, the 720p MP4 version of QdQst from Youtube is good enough (can be downloaded on keepvid.com, but there are firefox addons that do the same too). And there are links to a video version of Qd100Qst available.
Please, don't make me laugh. YT quality is pathetic. Look at Maverick Servers... the Quake Done Quickest (11:29) can be found there in all FOUR versions (pity that Józef's laptop wasn't strong enough to encode in 1080p).
