Hey Ho Let's Go
The guys over at own-age.com seem to like it a lot:

http://own-age.com/vids/15203/
The Dork Knight himself.
The only thing this run is missing is a 120fps slowed down version with audio commentary explaining just wtf was going on in some of the levels Smiley

Blame the lack of audio commentary on certain members of the SDA staff.

Quake done Quickest has finally been released properly:

Head over to the QdQ web site to get it: http://speeddemosarchive.com/quake/qdq/
Or go directly to the movie info page: http://speeddemosarchive.com/quake/qdq/movies/qdqst.html
Or download the zip directly from here: http://speeddemosarchive.com/quake/qdq/demos/qdqst.zip
I'm addicted to games
That's awesome Mandel, I didn't even realize it was done and just needing someone to get a release together.

i regret to inform you of a minor mistake though... in the txt file dedication, it should be Anthony Bailey not Stefan.

That's entirely my fault. I wrote most of that text file years and years ago, and somehow never noticed I hadn't listen Anthony. Sorry :-/

Thanks for that, Radix Smiley

I fixed the text files.

This is beautiful.
I know I can download the Youtube video, but is there any chance the original proper encoded video will be uploaded somewhere? Anyway, nice work! Quake is hardcore and you guys make it look so easy.

Hey Ho Let's Go
quadrazid: That page doesn't link to a download location for that particular video.

I know there's a link somewhere on the web, but I can't seem to find it just now. I've been asking around to see if anyone could provide me with a server or something big enough to upload ALL the Quake done Quick videos in .avi format. I have them all on my HD. I think it adds up to about 29 GB or so in total. I think people would appreciate being able to download all the Quake videos instead of having to stream them (or let alone view the .pak files), and seeing as the Quake portion of the site has died completely, this would be my absolute final action as SDA updater. So far I haven't been able to find anymore willing to provide me with that much online storage space though.
Well, the 720p MP4 version of QdQst from Youtube is good enough (can be downloaded on keepvid.com, but there are firefox addons that do the same too).
And there are links to a video version of Qd100Qst available.
Please, don't make me laugh. YT quality is pathetic. Look at Maverick Servers... the Quake Done Quickest (11:29) can be found there in all FOUR versions (pity that Józef's laptop wasn't strong enough to encode in 1080p).
Thunderbolt Forever :)
So it seems we'll never see e1m4_012, e2m5_032, e3m2_017...
