Here it goes
Run through quake on easy skill. The run must be done with a special progs tha blanks players vision - he he.
I guess that with the skills and addiction present among current runners this would be possible.
It could be called Quake Done Bounce.

The question is: should the finished run also be watched on black screen?

don't take this too serious  Grin

Never give up!
I've got just two things to say regarding this before I step aside and let the current Quake runners speak up (if they want to, at least).

First, I'd think a project of this type would be better called 'Quake Done Blind'.

Second, I think you're absolutely insane to even suggest this idea.  That's all I'm going to say.
No offence, but this idea is even worse than what we originally thought about for Quake done Backwards (yes, running facing backwards)  Smiley
I have been thinking this too. There's one thing that would make this more interesting. A second player advises the first one through TeamSpeak or Skype.... Like: "Go forward, shoot, jump" etc.

Like rally driving. Problem is that it's near impossible to verify.

shooting the buttons in e2m4 would be kinda fun  Roll Eyes

I was joking in the first post Cheesy
still the QDB is possible Smiley I would really like to see it done!!.. I did the first episode one time, in roughly 3 or 4 minutes.. it's looks really nice.. and is certainly doable...
I think the Quake Done Backwards requires great skill to do it fast and therefor quite interesting... But I'm not sure how difficult it will be, maybe it's even impossible on some missions? I'm not too experienced in Quake Smiley
aww come on people don't come up with dumber and dumber project ideas, there're plenty of seconds in the current records either! Go, practise and practise and PRACTISE EVEN MORE and beat them!!!

SDA: the forum don't let me in however I'm trying with the correct password...
grmbl joe, stop hassling and start running backwards...
