I think it looks much better than the XBOX 360. The contoller is kind of weird but you can't know till you have it in you hands.

Why does it matter what it looks like? That's a bit superficial, and the kind of talk I'd expect to see in GameFAQs, not SDA.

Alex has a point. Who cares what each system looks like, it is the games and capabilities that matter. For all we know Nintendo's new system could be a sock that you wear around and game with. Shocked

Wow, you guys judge fast for people preaching about why not to be superficial. I know it's about the games. Would I support Sony if it wasn't about the games? No, I'd support the XBOX because of the pretty graphics. I'm a gamer not a tech head.

I for one like how it looks and I think it looks better than the XBOX 360. Now all of the sudden I'm superficial. Wow. I really have to watch what I say. Oh, and by the way they already showed Nintendo's next-gen. Not what I'd thought Nintendo would go for given their history of child friendly colors and shapes. They said that there's a Mario and Zelda already in the works.

As for PS3... DMC 4 and MGS 4!!!!!!!! Alot more other stuff(Tekken and Gundam) but thats what got me excited the most.

Out of the three systems i am making a big little fact based prediciton of where these systems will stand:

PS3 - it looks sick and has everything

Xbox2 - becuase halo nerds will be drawn into this lackluster xbox repeat

Nintendo - See reason # 2

Personally i like the idea of downloading 20 years of nintendo games so here is my own list:

Revolution

That's exactly where I stand. In the Microsoft con. they said they had the best launch games in history... BULLCRAP!!! Perfect Dark seems like the only good one. PS3 has alot more and better games. Also Microsoft were talking about how it is the most powerfull but PS3 clearly overpowers it in alot of ways.

Nintendo has my support for alot of reasons but mostly because they know their stuff and are probably going to make games that will once again become instant classics.

But PS3 is my favorite because it has my favorite franchises.

Buy a Nintendo revolution For Metroid and Mario

Buy a PS3 for Gran Tursimo and MGS

Buy an Xbox for ...(Please inert name of decent game here)

Oh and as for the look. The reason the PSP has done better here in the UK than the DS was down to a public survey.

More people bought the PSP becuase apparently it looked more fashionable compared to DS and people werent ashame to be seen with one compared to the DS. So in UK looks does matter! (even though the computer will never leave the home)

Huh? Where does all that come from? I remember reading that the DS set the record for first weekend console sales in the UK and as far as I know the PSP isn't even out here yet Huh?

Sorry i didnt mean to say bought i was meant to say "Would Buy". Obviously the PSP comes out in September here in the UK, what i meant to say is that a survey showed which one of these two handhelds people would buy more. And in general in the UK people would buy the PSP becase it looks more stylish. The same here goes with phones.

Sorry my cousin imported a PSP from Japan, and a few of my mates have one, i just keep thinking its out in the UK aswell. As you can tell i aint a big Hand Held fan so i wont be talking about them any more. Lips Sealed

Who wants to talk about hand helds it's the revolution and PS3 I'm looking forward to. A few reasons why I dont go for Xbox

1) Because of the [censored] name.
2) They say they're better than everyone else because they ""Think"" they have more power FACT: PS3 is more powerful in most factors.
3) It has gone from a chunky black bohemoth to a lite piece of crap.
4) NO GOOD GAMES!!!!!
5) Microsoft bought out RARE that is the most stingy thing anyone has ever done in the whole world. They only did that because they couldn't create anything deacent by themselves .

Last year I was talking to this guy at school asking him why he likes the xbox and all he could come up with is that it's more powerful and the usual HALO!!!!! That pisses me off.
Over all I would give a tie to what I have seen from PS3 and Revolution but I'm not even going to include xbox in this post Angry

I was actually considering buying an XBOX 360 if it was backwards compatible, but it's not worth it in my opinion. I can't wait to next year's E3(This year's hasn't even finished yet) when they show off MGS4. It's going to be amazing.

It's a "Preview" for MGS4. It really isn't since they just make a bunch of assumptions with some prior Metal Gear knowlegde. The woman all the way to the right of the poster is Naomi fro MGS1, I'm pretty sure. But they say she's probably fortune. Don't think so.

I wouldn't get an XBox360 if it weren't for Halo 2. But that's coming out in Spring next year, so I won't be getting one until then for sure. PS3, of course, look nice. The revolution really impressed me. It looks real nice and the fact that you can download old games, that's just cool!

Yeah I saw the picture a few days ago. I dont agree with the Naomi or Fortune asumption. It does just look like a new character alltogether. Also why would it be that Raiden is holding his baby shouldnt those duties be left to Rosemary? And Big Boss well that may be, though on the picture he shares a physical resemblence to that of Psycho Mantis. Only time will tell!
