GCN ftw! Even when it's like broken literally in half, it still works. Now for false rumors- I hear the revolution will be able to survive a nuclear holocaust. And it will weigh less than air. And be able to reproduce asexually.
Y'know...this seems like a good place to bring this up.My GC is starting to crap out on me. It says there's no disk in side when there is...and cuts off in gameplay sayint there's something wrong. I started having problems with my 64 as well. But...when did all these things accure? They happened within a few monts of the release of the next system! Coincidence? I think not!

Wow, because you know the Revolution will be able to emulate N64 games! And will be backwards compatable with the Gamecube!
*CAPTAIN OBVIOUS saves the day once again!*
*Flies away*
(I wasn't insulting the quoted person, I just felt it was appropriate to call on Captain Obv. to lay down some facts some of the peers who've been hiding under rocks the past few months to learn the 411)
I'm not insulted. But I was suggesting Nintendo sends out a signal to all current systems to crash so you have no choice but to pick up the new one if interested. And the backwards compatability helps the situation. Heh...heh...
My SNES works pretty well (I don't even have to blow into the pin connector to make it work, and yes, I know that the blowing trick doesn't really help, but rather hurts your hardware).
I just can't get game saves in some of my older games because of the fading back up battery.
