Called the game store. I don't know if they have one in this very minute but he said they get them pretty regularly.

System, Power Cord, Controller, RF unit. For $60. You would know better than I if that's a reasonable price.

I could ship it to you. Not sure what it would cost but at the worst it has to fit in a USPS flat rate box of some type.

Earthbound (SNES)

I know Earthbound is a longshot to even have but both of these I'm pretty unlikely to find a good deal elsewhere anytime soon so it can't hurt to have another potential place. Thanks again for checking for us!

I basically only need the system with cable stuff, I already have a bunch of spare controllers. $60 is certainly much cheaper than what I'd pay on the deals I currently can find, so that would be absolutely fine by me. I basically don't care about the shipping cost (obviously I'd pay it though ^^), so that would be absolutely fine by me

Hey sorry for the delay. Feel free to poke me in a PM if I don't check this thread often enough. They do have some in stock. Below are the prices. I don't know the exact cost of shipping but I shipped a SNES to Sweden and I think it was about $30. She said the only difference between the models is the size.

Genesis original: $20
Second gen: $30
Third gen: $40

Streets of Rage 2: $15

Third generation genesis corrects some memory bugs that renders a handful of games unplayable. Some genesis 3's have only mono out. Recommend the second generation genesis for best compatibility with SDA's recording requirements.

or a 32X. or a lot of things make them different. The genesis is a clusterfuck of chip variations with plenty that are better than others. Even if you have two of the same model number, that doesn't mean they're the same internally. IIRC the gen3 usually has the best video processor and I don't know what you mean about mono only. It uses the same output as the model 2. model 1s are mono only via the a/v port, but you can get around that with the headphone jack. The nonHDG model 1 and the model 2 have pretty crappy sound. The launch Genesis (says High Definition Graphics on the console) has the best compatibility with the library of games. Once they introduced TMSS, that broke some games. The Gen 3 doesn't support the SCD, 32x, or Virtua Racing in addition to all the games that fail on every other version. The list of games that don't work is actually pretty small and I don't think it contains anything really great so do whatever you want. There's a great post somewhere that goes into detail of what's been found in consoles. I'll have to look it up when I get home.

Does it surprise anyone that I have extra consoles? May or may not have AC adapters and a/v cables for them though and I won't know for at least a week. They're back home in CT.

You're in UK right? Get a SCART cable and don't give a f- about the video processor anymore. ps: those prices are horrible. $10 extra for a model 2 and SoR for $15? lol You could probably buy SoR2 on ebay and have it shipped to you for less than $15.

I'd need a new Sonic 3 cart as my other one is broken. I'm also looking for any other fun Genesis games since I bought a system without many other games. It's a 1st generation btw.

Ristar, Phantasy star IV, Contra, Rocket Knight, Pulseman (if that works with a US Genesis?), Castlevania Bloodlines, Kid Chameleon, Aladdin, Vectorman and Tiny Toons are games I might be interested in off the top of my head.
