smrpg costs $35 at my local store. jus sayin.. So do most things you would think cost an extreme amount of money. I picked up MMX3 for $35 and one of the people who worked there bought earthbound for $35 also. I've never seen anything not current gen priced higher than that.

Well, I'm really not gonna gripe over $15 when I got it locally. Besides, like I said, better then the last time I found it here in town and it was $80. :\

Also, the $40 SNES was a good deal, so it evens out.

Edit: 20% off the SMRPG price too, so it was actually, $44.

Ikoma, did you return KF2? I'll buy it if Zenic doesn't. And if you look at my topic I'm ISO smrpg as well, it's something like $40 at a local store if anyone finds it cheaper. Earthbound as well, if anyone sees that in good condition for under $40 grab it and shoot me a PM.

You know it wasn't released in the US right? There is no Genesis version so I wouldn't count on one of these popping up locally. I honestly don't even know if my store would accept an out of region game.

Ya, I looked into that already. Released in PAL and in JAP only. Lame. But, the model genesis I have is region free and can play both. Well, at least to what I have been reading. Please some one correct me if it is wrong.

The Genesis 3 is still region specific. The Firecore is a different beast.

You can always buy a Game Genie for cheap and use that to bypass the region lock. The downside to this is that you have to enter the code every single time.

I'll be heading up to a store in a few weeks that have games from, uh, pretty much any system. NES, SNES, 64, Gamecube, Wii, any Sega console, Commodore 64 (though they might be dead after all those years), all the Atari systems, PC... if you want to send me a message, I can look for any game you'd like. Just tell me the name, system, and (if you'd like) the amount you'd be willing to pay.

The place also has an insane amount of equipment. They have controllers for systems I never even knew existed. Normal Nintendo (NES, SNES, N64) controllers are mostly gone, but some might show up over the next few weeks. You never know what you'll find with that store Cheesy

Edit: Heidrage, I ended up getting TMNT4 in a lot. I can send it to you for $12 shipped. Issues are the label is a little worn, and I've found the internal battery is dead, so no high scores or time trials are saved. Let me know if you want it.

Holy crap, if they have a copy of Demon's Crest (Which I doubt) At $12, PLEASE snag it for me! I'm not even concerned about condition, as long as it plays. Couldn't find that cart for less then $40 online last I checked. The other prices aren't as stand out, but still very fair for the most part.

Note: I wish I lived near a store with prices like those. WOW!

Yeah, that's one I've looked for myself and never seen it. If it's there, then it's yours though. Most times they'll lower their prices for games they don't have, then once they get them, they'll raise the prices slowly over time.

i was looking to make a thread like this for myself, but i'd rather just contribute here

i live in an area that's pretty densely packed with a lot of nice retro game stores. i visit these stories usually once every few weeks or so to keep tally on what's available and see if there's anything i've been looking for, so i'm gonna throw in my offer to check for games that people are after. at least one of the stores in the area also sells imports, tempted to buy the dragon ball z game for super famicom every time i see it there lol

if anyone has anything they're after just pm me the game and price you're willing to spend so i can see if i can pick it up(or post it here of course). i already got the games from the last few posts on my list so i'll post back here after my next trip out to the stores

also if anyone happens to spot a copy of sonic jam (us sega saturn version) or burning rangers (same lol) for around or less than 50 bucks or so with the manual and case of course, lemme know! i'm fairly positive they're worth more than that, but money is kinda tight atm
