You sure? Because whenever I picked up the paycheck in the RWS building, I always end up dead. Most of the times I'm already killed when the cutscene finishes, other times when I try to get out of that room after the cutscene the RWS guys and\or the Anti-RWS guys\girls still kill me Smiley

What do you mean exactly ? The video plays fine on my hdd as well on youtube, although I had to fix desynched audio there, so maybe that's the problem. I'll play with it more when doing final video.

When I watch that Tuesday video I get the feeling there's something not right in some places, because things seem to go faster then normally. Maybe it's because of the fixing of the desynched part, I don't know. I'll wait for the final video Wink

It's only a feeling I suppose, because the audio doesn't get desynching all the time, which means the speed of audio and video matches. Btw, have you found any new shortcuts that aren't in Pweisger's runs ? I mean, not routes, because I have them optimized already, but some really cool tricks like bribing the Krotchy.

I know of a few shortcuts which are pretty difficult to perform but they save quite some time. I actually wanted to keep them a little secret (Although I already talked about them in this thread) so that I could show them when I would Speedrun this game (I need to keep some secrets right? ;D). But it looks like I won't be Speedrunning this game for a while since I'm too busy with Rune so it doesn't really matter too much.

If you collected exactly 300 dollars for the "Pay Ticket" mission and don't get more money after that for Krotchy you can do the following as a little trick (Or just simply to include all little tricks and stuff ;)). Talk to the officer for the "Pay Ticket" mission, then turn around and throw the money on the floor. When you've completed that mission you can pick up the money again to use for Krotchy.

There's a faster way to get through the Library on Tuesday which involves putting yourself on fire and walking through the deadly fire (You can piss up and keep pissing up while walking through the fire so you won't get hurt too much). Here's a video from NeoKamek which shows the trick.

I also know of 2 "You got stuck" which could be (ab)used. One in Meat World and the other is in the Brewery. I've recorded 2 videos of them some time ago, I shall upload them.

Also in the Brewery it's possible to skip the Gimp cutscene and thus also the "Pick up Laundry" mission. I don't have a video of this and it requires jumping in a difficult way from the table in that room so that you don't hit the cutscene trigger. I also managed to get faster past the door (Because the door opens to the inside of that room) by using a jump-crouch from the right side of the room (There's a space where you can stand without triggering the cutscene, this jump is pretty difficult...). It's a bit difficult to explain this so I'll try to record it Smiley

I didn't have problems to have some money for Krotchy, so it's useless.

Actually, my route is only 1-2 seconds slower, I don't need molotov, I don't lose so much health and I can pick up armor, which I need for Mall and Church, so in the end it might be even slower.

Man, awesome shorcuts, I have to try that Confess sins trick, so maybe I'll redo Tusday.

EDIT: Hm, the closest RL is under grocery store and it took me 1:40 to take it and get back to grocery and since that cutscene plays it too and my time from transition to transition is only 55 seconds (without that cutscene), so this shortcut is useless.

EDIT: Mike agrees the "you got stuck" isn't a glitch, which is a very good message, because the Brewery on Insane-o is really Insane Smiley

I either hallucinated and thought I was successfull one time or it's very hard and\or it must be researched a bit better.

You can see the strange turning I do when I skip the trigger on the stairs. Everytime I tried to do it without this turning I failed, I think it's because when I turn I go to the right which maybe just gives the extra space to skip the trigger or something, I'm not sure exactly. Maybe because of the turning you go in a curve kind of motion far enough on the stairs to skip the trigger.

I keep pushing crouch all the time, but I can't figure out that weird turn. You're only doing a turn with mouse or you add any strafekey to it ?

EDIT: Oh, I also noticed you jump from the edge of the table, which I can't, because there's that trigger and you seem don't use crouch.

I'm jumping from almost at the edge of the table (If you go too far you'll trigger the cutscene), then I jump, crouch, turn with the mouse and press the key to go to the right. It requires a little practise Smiley

Got that jump and finished Wednesday in 10:41, which is estimately 6:20 faster than Average run.

I have almost finished Thursday now, so the run should be completed very soon.

haha! sweet! its up. cant wait to see this in non-shitty-you-tube quality. cheers! this game is so damn fun, and i mean that far beyond the sex and violence, the glitches are fun too.

2 things i noticed

on tuesday, getting the petitions, you can call to them from further away (to get their attention and go through the motions). im not sure the maximum distance though.

I don't think that the distance you ask people really matters that much. I mean, I could have saved like 200ms on each person or so.

That glitch is nice and quite easy. Frankly, I didn't do any "You got stuck" searching, because I could spent days just by trying to do so. It doesn't save that much time anyway, just like a 10 seconds or so, but thanks for posting it !

Afaik the nearest rocket launcher is under the library and since you have to go there via Lucky Ganesh, it took me 1:40 just to get it and going thru the church takes 50 second i think, so it's much slower.

Now that it is up, I can say that I verified it.

I admit defeat. Seriously, this is a whole lot better than my run on several levels. Good job. You deserve it. I don't think I will compete for times, so I will leave it at that.

What sucks though is that I am trying to get a run going here, but every one I do gets taken by someone else. I am trying a 100% GTA3 run, but alas, someone else is competing with me, and getting lucky as hell. Guess I will have to do a 100% San Andreas run should I ever want to get something posted here that won't be bested.
