To be honest, I don't really have the patience for this game. I am only running it since someone asked, and yes, I am sure it would go faster if I kicked the damn door open. As for the whacking of people, I do it to keep it interesting as I tirelessly walk from one end of the map to the other. I enjoy doing this game because of the chaos and havoc you can cause, and try to keep it entertaining. On the Thursday segment I am working on, I will kick doors and such, and will try to work for speed, but don't count on too much of a change. Maybe if I give enough of a damn, I will run it on Hestonmode to make you all happy, but until then, I will keep with what I am doing. Sorry that I tried to make it entertaining, because otherwise it is a pretty boring game.

Yeah the game was pretty short, even if you played it without speed running Cheesy

And in harder mode, all the police have at least a handgun.  I noticed in super-easy mode, pretty much everyone takes out a shovel or something instead of a gun.  And in harder mode, the police rarely miss Tongue

When playing on Normal mode, you get the police after you if you have any weapon out. Including the shovel.

Remember what Radix said.  When doing a speed run, speed is the #1 priority.  Entertainment should come second. 

So, resist the urge to lodge that damn shovel into a guy's skull already!  >.>

Seems to me that 'shovelling' someone doesn't slow him down but sometimes it does when he runs into them, but when he runs by it seems to do nothing, so I'm cool with it Cheesy

Ok, ok, I will TRY to reduce the temptation to plant a gardening tool in someone's head. Once this run is finished, I might consider running this "seriously" on a harder difficulty. Right now, this run is mostly for entertainment and speed, and practice, and a whole mess of other stuff, so there will be better... one day...

Ack! This week has been hell, but I tell ya what. I will have this run completed by Christmas, and will begin working on a new run on a harder difficulty with better quality. This was more of practice, but I still want to finish it.

Ok, time for an update on the situation (like anyone cares). Ok, I have decided to restart this run on Average (normal), and change a few things.

For one, I won't be submitting day by day runs. I will finish the entire game first and submit it as a whole.

I will remember to kick down doors, and maybe not hit so many people (maybe).

I will record with Camtasia since fraps has given me crap quality for this game in particular.

I hope it all works out.

Can´t wait to see the run!!! Have been waiting for ages on the Thursday run, but to get the hole one is mutch better...

How mutch faster than the levels you have done are they going to be?

Hurt some people/animals on the way.....

Are you going to do a run on a harder level...?

How long will it take before we will see anything of this run?

I wanted to do Thursday on Liebermode, and finish the run I am on, but too many improvements/quality problems have halted it. I will continue to support storyline/bash heads in. I hope to be a little faster with the run as a whole, but I am doing it on Average (normal) difficulty, which is a little trickier, but not too bad. The trick for Thursday is getting enough money to pay off the ticket, but I can rob a few houses on the way. My ultimate hope is to have it done by the end of the month. I really want to get this done and out of the way. The good thing is the quality should be better for this run, and more entertaining.

Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry! I know, I have been a little neglectful bitch. I have good news and bad news. Good news, the run is going well, I am on Average, and am working on Thursday now, and it looks a lot better than the previous ones, I hope to have it done very very soon, which comes the bad news. The bad news is I have a highly intensive class that runs through March 11, where I basically have to take the movie American Beauty and schedule and budget the shoot for it off of the script (to give you an idea of how unfuckingly hard it is, I just finished breaking down the script, after reading it 10 times and working on it for over 20 hours.) And yet, good news, in that once March 11th passes, I will be able to finish this run. Let it be known that I have not abandoned it, it's just going to take forfucking ever.
