I can see what you mean about Double-Edge. If you don't mind, what stage/Pokemon combination are you using? I'm basically using Rattata for running through areas(and stage bosses), and Shaymin for when I need power.

I guess I was the same way in terms of thinking I was the only one running the game.

I use the ratatta for running through levels and blastoise for rumbles

Oh, and as for stages, i generally do them in the order of: windy prairie, fiery furnace, and eternal tower. Then I go to the Rocky Tunnel to get whatever drop I need to progress. For C rank I sub out windy prairie for the forest tutorial. I know these are the fastest levels because I timed them all on each rank.
