There are some tutorials for the game right now (mostly video tutorials) that have enough strategy info in them for someone to be able to get a 3:2X time, it's just not common knowledge that a lot of people know while playing, and especially since it's a game usually played casually most times on the leaderboards currently are basically casual playthroughs and i just think the best strategies could use more emphasizing. An SDA wiki page could be a pretty good idea

The idea of a multi-segment 100% is disagreed on because of possible cheating although there haven't been any incidents of it, that's where some people came up with the idea of a two-segment 100% that could be paused at a specific place but it's still been disagreed upon. Personally I think the idea of multi-segment runs is okay but there could have to be a better way to moderate future runs

Luckily, if someone submits a run on SDA, they're likely not doing it for gaining massive popularity, followers or such, so cheating is at least somewhat less incentivized. How does segmenting allow cheating in this game BTW?
That's true about there not being a big incentive right now, segmenting could allow possible RNG manipulation since the places that zombies appear throughout each level are somewhat random
That's never ever been disallowed in speedrunning! If you can manipulate RNG, you just do it.* That's often what segment grinding is about to a lesser or greater extent. Or think about the JRPG runs where they literally manipulate everything by following the right step path. This is the reason we benefit from having a universal basic ruleset like SDA's giving guidelines for the main categories. And of course no-one knows about it since SDA isn't getting shouted out at the marathons anymore, and a bunch of other reasons.

Anyway, hope to see a submission one day when it's ready for that!

* Except in cases where "set seed" and "random seed" are justifiably separate categories, like Diablo 2 or Minecraft. The RNG has a huge impact on those games, of course.
