the PC version of the game will freeze for about a second when the music changes from the normal music to pursuit music or vice versa.
I think it is related to the fact that one of the songs is stopped abruptly, since it doesn't freeze when you steal an item after the normal music finished playing.
Is there any way to stop the game from freezing other than playing the game without the music?
The backside of the games case says that it requires DirectX 8.1 or higher and a DirectX 8.1 compatible graphics and sound card, if that's of help.
The music is read from the game CD which has the songs stored on it like a regular audio cd.
