Verification Files

http://v.speeddemosarchive.com/pso1_20140528/

Please refer to the Verification Guidelines before posting. Verifications are due by Aug. 21, 2014.

Please post your opinions about the run and be certain to conclude your post with a verdict (Accept/Reject). This is not a contest where the majority wins - I will judge each verification on its content. Please keep your verification brief unless you have a good reason otherwise.

After 2 weeks I will read all of the verifications and move this thread to the main verification board and post my verdict.
Insane Killer Robot
A/V good, no cheating detected, just a lot of glitching at the start. Overall, the run is very well performed, the bosses are utterly destroyed thanks to the over-equipping glitch, and the overall time is better than the previous run. Although they took a hit at De Rol Le, they had pretty good luck with most of the run and Dark Falz is also beaten a bit quicker. I give this one an accept as a nice improvement.
What's that gemma?
I have no prior experience with this game.

A/V seems good.

The initial glitching of the game is arcane to me, but the new run does it 30 seconds faster than the incumbent to apparently similar effects judging by the status screen.

I was unable to find any run notes for this, and I feel like those are essential given the nature of this game.  I watched the run with minimal ideas of what constituted progress (is he killing enemies for levels, for drops, or because the game requires him to?)

He spends a lot of time fiddling with his "hurrah!" emoticon settings during the first dungeon.  Does it have some function?  Otherwise, I think it's responsible for him losing the lead he had generated over the incumbent up to that point.  He subsequently gains a lot of time throughout the run by being much faster at killing groups of enemies.  He also takes different paths through dungeons, but I was unable to judge if those routes were themselves any faster or slower.

Ultimately, it seems like this run is faster than the incumbent by being better prepared for the many groups of enemies the game throws at you in the mid game and generally playing better.  This makes it an easy ACCEPT in my book.

I still want run notes, though.

The game mandates the killing of many enemies in order to open the door(s) out of the room.

A/V is fine.

Time spent in symbol chat doesn't waste any time, it's all done while waiting for things to happen or walking.

Excellent economy of motion, good use of traps, wrecked the game, accept.
Decision posted.
