dont see anything that needs changing around here, maybe i dont dig deep enough?

using a forum gets really annoying if i always have to think twice about posting because i could get warned or banned and im usually not the spammy type of poster..

whatever you do, just dont nazi things up, the more the staff acts like police the more the users turn into cops "dont double post!"

The posts of gia and l2ebel sum up my thoughts fairly well. Work smarter, not harder. :3

As long as people stay mostly on the topic - speed running and its immediate by-products such as video encoding - there is very little need to exercise strict moderation policies. Of course, the moderators should not be afraid to use the tools given to them if the main function of this forum (speed run planning and sharing ideas and WIPs) is compromised.

Voted 1 to offset xXIkuto's 4 vote.

There really is not much need for stricter moderation simply because the userbase behaves well most of the time. I'm all for getting rid of all sorts of pointless internet fads and memes, even though they rarely show up around here.
3. I've never disagreed with something a mod has done, and I've never seen the mods go too lax on anything. I like the fact that only blatant spam / pointless topics get modded and arguments / abuse are dealt with by the people using reason and reasonableness.
I also like the fact that nobody minds when I double post.

I vote 3. In my admittedly short time here, I'd say this is one of the best moderated forums around (of course, everything looks well moderated compared to lolGameFAQs, but even so...) That said, I wouldn't be overly displeased if policy changed either way.
