What's wrong with the current route?

It's out dated.

Hint: Look for magic and Silver Gauntlets.

He's back!
You need to redo that segement fluffy.

I timed the rupee run and it was 2:11, my best time can be found
here.

which is a 2:05, which I've matched on 6 seperate ocassions.

Tips

1. Avoid the first two ruppee

2. Backwalk and backflip onto the first ledge, don't grab it like you did.

3. You missed getting a rupee when backfliping the fences

4. instead of backfliping when exiting the tunnel for the first time, backwalk and then sidestep, there is a large margin of error for doing it.

5. The reason for equiping the sword so early is to slash the bush next to the blue rupee, but you don't, next time do it.

6. When you slash the sign for the blue rupee you grab the the ledge and jump over, the best strategy is to Z-target the oposite fence, the backflip onto the fence and perform another 2 out of the area.

You don't have to redo that now, because you might want to nail the segment, with the skulltulla vine boost.
Speed is the key.
My segment 2 had a 2:06 rupee run, you might wanna beat that before moving on. TSA had a 2:05 (or was it 2:04?).
Ok guys, I just came here to speedrun, I didn't want to get anyone mad, so can we just forget this happened?

You have to jump on the right angle. Tongue

I'd practice with GS

Show me a video of you doing it from this "right angle" and I'll believe you.

BWAHHAHAHHAHA, yes it IS that simple, I just used L to levitate to get up there quickly. you have to just jump off at the side!

You could clearly see that the invisible wall was waaaaay to high for you to jumpslash above it from the nearby ledge. You haven't showed anything new.

Either show me a video of you doing it without cheats, or shut up.
He's back!
I posted a very simalar video of that quite some time ago, and yes like Yautja said, the invisible wall is clearly to high. I did a lot of testing on that and its impossible to do, the seams on the edges of the map are also to narrow to stand on.
Ok, i'll make a video WITHOUT CHEATS.
Make sure you do it in this order too:  Otherwise your efforts are pointless.

Quote:

1. Get sword

2. do a jumpslash onto the exit from Kokiri forest, leave

3. Get hylian shield

4. Go back to mido

5. TA DA, does it work?

This shows how high the barrier is. Though I'm coming from the ground up, you still see about where the barrier ends. It must have been a fluke when I did it without cheats that one time, and like I said before, I cannot do it again for some reason. The angle that Yautja has on his video without the Kokiri there is I dont think one that would work all that well with him there, but I havent tested it extensively yet. It is possibly too hard of an angle and too much timing to execute this everytime.

Ok.  I thought the "Rupee Master" would tell me to redo it.  I thought it would be around 2:07.  Wow, I was way off.  Definetly going to redo.  The reason I never slashed the bush was because it always gives me a heart.

The bushes never give hearts unless you don't have full health, if you have full health the hearts will be replaced with green rupee's.
Food goes in here
Quality looks good Fluffy, I look forward to watching your segments. I'm glad to hear you've decided to run this.
Yaujta, I can't make a video, but IT IS possible I swear, I'll get a video soon, but it won't be mine, as I have trouble doing it, but Zelda Master like you should Grin

Why would I waste my time trying to do a trick that nobody has even been able to prove that it actually works?

I said it before: Just get a video up and I'll believe you.
That's what I said... I'm getting a video...

As long as we're asking for videos

Could someone tell me (or, more likely, link me to the appropriate youtube page) how to get all the way to the Magic Great Fairy Fountain without bombs?

How is it that you could make the video where you levitated past the Kokiri guard, but you now can't seem to capture video at all?

Lips Sealed Because I can't do it, but I'm asking someone who can to make one.
Yes, a cucco riding the ground.
Fluffy: VirtualDub shows exact times at the bottom of the window. This lets you time to the nearest frame.

I know that, but what are the rules of timing?  Where does time start and when does it end?

I give up trying the rupee route today.  I'll try it more tomorrow.  Fucking bushes aren't giving me rupees.

Hint: Look for magic and Silver Gauntlets.

You pick up magic in Segment 16 as an adult while going to the forest temple. The silver gauntlets aren't needed at any point during this route. Am I missing something here?

OK, more specifically, is there any way to get the magic without any explosives whatsoever as a child?
