Can we get the bow as a child? I mean, not complete the whole forest temple, but just get the bow.

If we get the bow as a child and stop as soon as we get the bow, complete shadow as a child,and...

complete adult spirit as a child (I have no clue how, but it would involve hurting twinrova w/out mirror shield, maybe storage of some kind?)

I'm still wondering if we can get light arrows as a child...

Completing adult spirit as a child is probably the best sequence break we can ask for now (other than getting light arrows early).

Well, in the room with the big statue I can pull the endless sword glitch off the door at the top of the stairs with the iron bars. From there I could bombchu-hover to the statue's face. Maybe someone better this could gain some height and jumpslash through it.

Heres another thing, you can use the armos to glitch onto the statue's lap and backflip to the belt, and there's a convenient acute angle where the high end of its belt meets the wall; Now how do I get inside the statue from here?

Man, I hope you appreciate this because it was utterly taxing... I ended up getting it on the final attempt before I was gonna say screw it and go to sleep. Mainly I was trying it for hours with suboptimal methods (no slingshot) which can be done but its alot harder... then I tried for even longer trying to time all of it in my head and failed utterly, then I said screw it and used slingshot but still failed to time the ending ones properly... so then I got that time down beforehand and finally got it. Bleh, I'm going to sleep now :-/

Yeah I really do appreciate this, I just have to practice this I was able to get in the air one time, I'm just not a good bomb timer.

TSA , yeah when you first do the sword glitch I kind of noticed that the game went a little bit laggy, but hardly noticeable at all.

I'm having no problems on the Gamecube version, I haven't tested ti much, though. I haven't noticed anything while playing the N64 rom, either. Might be because I'm playing on my PC.

I don't see ANY reason to do any of the adult dungeons as a child. You will lose a lot of time.

I finally got into the water temple as a child, but I wonder if there is anyway to beat it as a child. I'm just doing it for fun, not for a speed run or anything

You can't get the Light Arrow as a Child...However when you become an Adult you will skip the cutscene with Shiek and the Light Arrow cutscene will begin.

You can glitch into the statue using an Armos, though this in no way will help in beating Spirit Temple as a child.

So, we can now enter all temples as a kid? Shadow and Spirit are easy, Forest with Acryte's trick, Water with the laboratory glitch, and Fire with Acryte's trick? I tried to Enter the Fire Temple, but I kept running out of time in the Crater... I'm not very fast at this trick, and you must start over when you die.

Also, I found something that might help in a low%. For the Thieve's Hideout skip, you can just hover instead of longshotting that one pole. I don't know if that's known or not. It really is an easy trick once you practice-I've got it to about 75% accuracy.

TSA- I think I know what you mean, is the camera all zoomed out and weird? Thats the way it was for me, but I didnt notice any lag, it just seemed that way.

UM...Hold on...how do I beat an ARMOS without bombs? I'm just messing in Spirit...and...uh...yeah...

Edit: Oh, I need Deku Nuts? Well there is a crate with them in the Spirit Temple...so I lucked out...but um...could I get heads up on stuff like this...I nearly did 6 segments for nothing.

Edit 2: Wow, Spirit Temple is short with just getting Bombchus, heh. This should be very easy to do. Now, I just want to verify two things before I move past Spirit - as this is the point of no return:

1) We can get Silver Gauntlets later OR beat the Adult Spirit, and the game, without them (I saw a video, just making sure it is legit and confirmed on N64).

2) I can enter Dodongo's Cavern with Bombchus.

Once I have those, I'll do Segments 7/8/9 very quickly.

So you guys are gonna beat adult temples as a child. you can beat those temples as a child but there are few things what you doesn't know.

Forest temple can almost beat as a child because you cannot hit those pictures with sligshot and make poe appear.

Spirit temple can almost beat but too but when you get to the last iron knuckle room as a child there is nothing because those scnenes doesn't play as a child.

Shadow temple can be beat but when you have got shadow medallion and those scenes are over game will freeze.

I have beated water temple as a child and when you beat that temple as a child all scenes will play normally and game doesn't freeze.

I have tested all those stuffs.

TSA: You can beat armos statues with a Deku Stick Jumpslash, or a crouch stab after a Deku Stick jumpslash.

Okay, so I still don't see what is great about child spirit and child forest and child shadow. You waste lots of time, collect and consume copious amounts of bombs, and also there is nothing special about having hover before being an adult since you basically get it first thing as an adult anyways. You skip 2 cutscenes even if it's possible and I don't even know how you plan to damage twinrova so technically since you won't get spirit it is a pointless endeavor. The only thing that has any potential to save time is forest early... maybe... but you lose time in the maze and also in getting in... though would that mean we skip hookshot... can we using bomb trick to get through shadow without it? Because that would be significat if it can be done quickly (though it is right in our path to shadow anyways)... if possible it should at least be noted for a minimalist run.

if you mean that it is faster because you start in the temple of time, you warp there anyways so that isn't a time saver in that you go from ToT to ganon's castle

if you want to cross the gap in shadow temple then what is stopping you from using the slingshot or just going against the wall?

TSA - good stuff, small stuff here and there but nothing you aren't aware of and nothing costly besides what yautja pointed out. However, you are losing time because you are clumping your rolls. You should get a full extension off them before starting the next or you will be losing time to someone who doesn't clump them. Perfect example of clumping is in my jabu jabu Part2 vid on my way to the 2nd tentacle room. I totally clump them like noones business and it cost time. It hurts me to even watch that anymore but the rest was well played so I just live with it.

Kazooie - yeah the reason for that in shadow and in forest is probably because they try to place young link in the adult world... which is probably 2 separate entities and it might have issues with that, but then again who knows.

The only significant glitch we could find now is being able to use the same small key over and over.

the drops from the jars in forest aren't random. We can restock on bombs unless we have FW so there is no way we have enough to complete forest.

-Backwalk to Gerudo Valley wasn't great, but it works.

-As you said, line up for the cucco jump was a little long, but you made that up by pulling it off on the first try. Nice. You lost a second or two from Link climbing the fence, though.

-Why exactly do you roll into the crate? I think it's faster to just run around...

-Your strategy when entering the Thieve's Hideout is also similar to mine, it's just that I sidejump in there after the backwalk. That way I don't need to line up.

-Very good segment overall.

-Why on earth do you use the old jumpslashing tactic when bypassing the gate? Using a sidejump is much easier and you don't need to line up, plus it's faster. Wink

I can't download anything from internet anymore, when I click link to the hylia and want to download that segment. computer doesn't ask where I want to save that file. And I cannot download anymore speedruns from here because computer doesn't ask where I want to save that file, please can somebody help me again Cry

It's tough for me to help you out, as my instructions are in english, and your computer probably has it in French (or whatever language you speak). But I'll try my best.

Try right clicking on the file you want to watch, and say "save-target as". It should be the 3rd option down. It should then ask you for a username and password.

Username:speeddemos
password: archive

If that doesn't work, then there's something wrong with your computer. Try clearing your internet cache and cookies. It should be under: tools, internet options, delete files, and delete cookies. After you've done that, try again.

I hope you understand that.

That doesn't work. when I right click that and I cannot choose "save target as" thing and I tried clearing all those cookies but it doesn't work, why Huh?
