My feelings on The Demon Rush

Okay tjp7154 is the only person who has paid me back so far. BTW, Molotov is lonely in the second group registration list, and if you're going to reserve a room, it's better to do so earlier rather than later (you can share with other SDA members, just say so in this thread).

In case it's worth mentioning, I'm staying with Nitrodon for this event. As for paying Nate back, I think I'll be doing that in person because my funding for this trip will be from Christmas money. I could probably Paypal it to him a week or so before the event, but it doesn't seem like a bad idea just to say "here, have money" when I get there. I hope that isn't a problem.

As for the second group list, ARGH cost (so far).

Yes, kareshi's definitely coming, and he's a damn good speedrunner and all, but I'm pretty sure even he hasn't yet perfected cloning technology.

This is my smartass way of basically saying that he's in the "definite" list twice.

Incidentally, do we have a time for the panel/meet-and-greet/whatever it is?

I could do a couple IL exibitions (could do a :51 death egg like 95% for sure, and could maybe work on getting another level 100% of the time as well. Casino 2 may be a good one to show off as I can get a 1:05 and sweet looking boss fight there the majority of the time, oil ocean 1 or 2 would also be good choices as those ones are easy and look funky), though doing a full game for me would be nearly impossible. Some levels would just get god awful, I'd start dying, etc.

I don't know that any of the games I currently hold the SDA runs on would really be what they had in mind, but I'd be wiling to refresh my memory on some of them between now and then if you decide that they are.

How long until I cannot sign up as part of the other SDA group? Does joining that group mean I have to go to all 4 days or some other thing?

People better have like 5 million NES(es).

Last time I asked (3 or 4 weeks ago), they said it would be end sometime around Christmas.

Edit: Haha, wow. I just looked on Google maps for the heck of it to see how long the drive was, and the time it gave me was approximately 10 hours. I couldn't ask anyone to drive that far for me so nevermind. lol I didn't realize it was that far, I never really leave the state.
