My feelings on The Demon Rush

I live near Magfest (about a 10-15 minute drive), and I have the whole week off work, so I can come in pretty much anytime to meet up with people and give them badges.

registered second group, $200/6, so need $33.33 from members. can pay me whenever however. if you want to paypal me it's njahnke@gmail.com. cash when i give you the badge is fine too of course. not sure whether i'm getting the badges initially or what but it seems like that should be the case. so i'll have to be there early thursday morning. no problem.

Me and my brother will probably be paying you cash when we get there if it's alright. We'll probably be there sometime early Jan. 1st so I guess we'll need your phone number sometime soon. I should maybe get someone else's as well if we can't reach you or something when we get there.

i'll def be at the next one but i'd like to see how it goes with pics / vids (if possible.) would be cool seeing some live challenges taped and nate or someone making out with hot magfest girls

As a point of general FYI, I'll be rolling into town on the 1st, probably in the afternoon, tentatively in the 4-5 range, though it could be earlier or later depending on how New Year's Eve goes for me (~4 hours of driving with a fresh hangover does not sound like fun, so we'll see how I feel when I wake up).

Just over a week! GET HYPE!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'll be getting there late afternoon-ish on the 1st. Gonna try for 4PM-ish, we (My fiance and I) got there at about 5PM Thursday last year.

Saber, it's too late to register as part of a group. I think you can still register online, but you'd probably just be better off paying on-site since there's no discount for registering online AFAIK.

oh, glad to hear you might be coming saber. i'm probably driving through waco whether you're coming or not so from my perspective it would be really good if you could come.

the group reg discount was only like $5 anyway. it was mainly to show how big the group was coming to magfest (in other words, more for their benefit than for ours).

I see a couple of hours blocked off for Speed Demos Archive on the tentative Magfest schedule - one hour at 4PM Saturday, and another hour at 11AM Sunday. One of them is probably wrong - the 11AM Sunday one looks weird in its location on this schedule.

My feelings on The Demon Rush

Kareshi: We wanted a second spot so we can get more exposure and have time for follow-up questions since our video is 3/4ths of the panel time. MAGFest gave us a couple of options for a second spot (the Saturday spot has already been decided).

-Friday at 9am (no one will be up, including us)

-Friday during the concerts (it's a good spot since we'll pick up people who don't want to go to the concert, IMO)

-Sunday at 11am (nate won't be here and a lot of people will probably be gone by then)

I've just asked Eli, the guy who runs MAGFest, for Friday during the concerts. We'll see what he says.

People in my registration group: When do you want to meet so you can get your registration badges? I assume at some time on the first. I can make multiple trips if necessary.
