On gamefaqs there is a walkthrough for 100%. Tells you exactly when to get skulltullas and things. Not exactly suitable for a speed run but it is comprehensive.

Yes, this thread will become no good when it suddenly dies because the proposed run gets quietly abandaned after a couple of weeks. Much better to annouce it in the main thread.

When you're fishing, does time pass as quickly as when you are in like Hyrule field or something?

New video I made about some new small timesavers over the current route and groobo's test run:

EDIT: Ok, the third timesaver in my video actually seems to save 15 seconds!

How I did this was I timed how long it took in groobo's test run to go from sunset to sunrise in his segments 6 and 7 (of course excluding places where time wasn't passing, though I included the darkness areas) and it took 1:44.

Now I timed how long it took from sunset to sunrise in multiple tests. I replicated everything that groobo did in segment 6 and 7 until sunrise (except I used the new trick) and it took 1:29 each time. The normal time to pass from sunset to sunrise is 1:25, but you are in the darkness for some time at the beginning of segment 7, so it takes more time.

Also it is better to stall more time in segment 6, since you will need less time waiting in segment 7 so you won't have to wait as long so many times until you get the 2 bomb drops. Hope I didn't confuse anybody.

Where's the quickest way to grab a bug/fish in the new route? Most of the bugs go away when you're an Adult, like the ones in Lake Hylia grass, under the Kakariko rock, etc. The fastest place I can think of is in the grotto in Hyrule Field right near the Lake Hylia entrance.

Its basically just backflipping into the water, which springs you forward immediately. When getting in normally you have to wait about a second to move towards the pond edge.

If I remember right, It was done before and people found ways out of the "Circle of Death" from there, but the guy promptly removed the video for whatever reason.

Ah... those memories... That was actually me who brought up the whole thing with the exiting the circle and the youtube guy (thelegend0fzelda) finding that trick before, but he did it differently (with sidehops). Actually everybody just completely forgot about it I think Tongue

EDIT: OK, I think it is Utility of time, right? Does anyone know UOT's website? I can't find any info on it, other than a direct download of the latest version. Also, does anyone have the file "UoT_0.83_Source.rar"? If so, could you email it to me? I see that its an old version, but I would like it anyway.
