I had a video of it but I don't know what happened to it.  I'll make another for you.  Smiley

Edit: It's processing.
Edit Two: Here it is Hyrule Castle SeamWalk / Bombchu Jumpslash

Does anyone know how to get rid of the black lines that show up when using a digital camera?
You usually can't unless it's a high quality piece of equipment.

I have a pretty good idea for an improvement to the run so far.  Instead of beating Shadow Temple without arrows, set FW after you get the Hover Boots, then head to the Forest Temple, using the warp in Goron City.  In the Forest Temple, hookshot up the vines, hover over to the chest and get the key, continue forward, after poe cutscene backwalk across to the room with the 2 Stalfos to get a second key.  Unlock the door with one of the 2 keys, to get to the room with the 2 blocks in it.  Do this: Forest Temple Trick By: Yautja Elder go into the room with the master hand, kill it for a key.  Head back into the with blocks and use ground jumps to get on them and hover to the ledges.  Go through door that leads to crooked hallway.  Backwalk across then unlock door.  Go down all the stairs then through the door.  Fight the 3 Stalfos for bow and arrow.  Warp back to Shadow Temple.

Time Wasted:  None, if not faster as beating Bongo Bongo will be faster and easier, and you won't have to do that stupid bombchu trick to get across the gap where the boat sinks.

that would require getting FW which isn't happening.  bongo is not difficult at all with hookshot, and that bombchu trick is pretty easy as well.

it'd also require more running than just beating shadow without leaving.

I done a mock run Adult last night and its too awful to upload . I ended up doing it in 1:25, which is a lot of mistakes, I realised two things though

1. Adult adventure is not as straight forward as I thought

2. The Stalfos room below the arrows room can't be skipped. I got to the arrows room and nothing happened apart from the doors locked and I was forced to drop into the room below.

3. Its unlikly that sub 3 can be beaten comfortably.

Forest tactics based on discovery

1. Get key in first room
2. Defeat stalfos in room oposite poe room room
3. Use Kazooie's mega jump to skip poes
4. Do block pusking room and get arrows

Is't faster to get key from master hand room after you do that mega jump to skip one small key than get one small key from first room?

EDIT

I don't think the master hand room is quicker than the first room, bit I'll make it clear to anyone whose about to post that the stalfos room where you get the key cannot be skipped.

Yes I know that. if you not beat those two stalfos and then go to room where you get bow. There is nothing you must beat first stalfos battle to get bow.

Edit: The most useful trick of all in the Forest temple woulc be to get into the room above the first Stalfos room. Shame that it is unlikely.

you only need 3 keys.  you get the one right at the beginning on top of the trees.  you get the one in the stalfos room right across from the entrance.  from the block pushing room you use hover boots to get to the ledge and then grab the key from the master hand.

LoL yes it can be skipped.  All you have to do is get the key in the well instead (this would take hella longer though, but I'm just making it clear that you can).

I still think it's faster to spend the extra time getting FW as out helps out alot in Shadow Temple, but like DF it's not needed.  It all depends on what kind of run you're doing.

Also, I might have found a way to get the mirror shield as a child.  I'll test it later.

Sorry to get the arrows you must beat the stalfos on the ground below otherwise they don't appear in the room above. I did a mock run and in which I got the keys from the first room and master hand room, but it didn't work out when I got to the arrow chest room.

Oh I see what you mean now.  I was a little confused on your interpretation of which Stalfos you were talking about.  :-/

Edit:
I found a way to get a boost from a ground jump Ground Jump Boost

I've been able to get a jumpslash in after the bombchu, but you have to be quite fast.  If you do manage to get a jumpslash in you can get alot of air (about half of a goron bomb jump).  Never tried it as a child yet.  Might be able to get over the fence at gerudo valley, as I've been able to do it with ease as an adult at the Lake Hylia fences.
Maybe with that it's possible to get on top of the ledges in sacred forest meadow as an adult. It would save maybe 20 seconds I guess...I was trying to do it with normal ground jumps yesterday but no luck.
AKA, I've got at least a half dozen questions about the Adult section. Are you sure you won't upload it somewhere? The folks here might be able to offer some suggestions before you make another attempt.

I don't think you can get that high, as that is the height of air you get fromm a goron bomb jump, and you can't grab stuff after you do a boost.  Unless there's a way to use the bombchu to not knock you down but give you a little extra height to grab.

I deleted it because it was so bad. I haven't worked out the conventional Adult time yet. I now know the Adult quest isn't as straightforward as I thought, there's more to it than Shadow without Din's. I could probally answer most of your questions anyway. Off the top of my head I think the conventional SS Adult time is probally 1:15 and I already know the Child quest takes 1:45, so Sub 3 is a real achivement and could be up there with other legendery runs.

quick question: in the shadow temple, how do you get past the room with the invisible hookshot thing on the roof w/out the longshot? i'm currently stuck there right now.

In that room, kill all the ennemies. a chest will appear, close to the invisible hookshot thing. Jump on the chest, now you can easily reach the hookshot thing on the roof without the longshot.

TSA, what route are you planning on running, including which tricks? Secondly, good luck on that stuff.
