I haven't been able to get a slide with it, however i did somehow get a very high vertical jump...
It seemed about twice as high as a ground jump, but i have no idea how i did it...

When exactly do you tilt back for the slide?

How much knockback was there from that vertical jump you did?

If it was like a groundjump except higher, then that could be used to get to places not normally possible with just a regular groundjump such as the ledge in the room before the boss room in DC.

As for the original trick of getting pushed back quickly. It's interesting, but I haven't found any uses for it yet. Too bad the game freezes went you go into the ground.

Oh, you need an enemy.  How are the requirements different than a normal SS then?  Why would you want to find a way to extend it as opposed to doing a normal SS?  Was the thought to zip under the ground and have that bring a new trick or something?

Do you have an adult route? I'm pretty sure the one I used can be improved quite a bit.
Actually, no, I don't have an adult route yet. I worked the Child route out so the adult route would fit, but I haven't started it.

I ran in to something today, I was attempting an zora early 100% via golden scale, after I enter the princess escape cutscene (after dongo) and I want to get all bomb bags before go to temple, some how, I only get bombchu, bomb, purple rupee, never the heart container or bags. what did I do?
Are you sure you played the bombchu game at least 5 times in a row? If you left the bombchu bowling alley building to get more rupees, then the order of which prizes you can win randomizes again.

And for anyone curious, I just completed segment 5 of the 100% run.

Great run so far, but can someone explain why the Golden Scale glitch works?
I've always wondered why the Golden Scale glitch works too. I don't even have a general idea.

Anyways, I don't remember if this was ever decided, but, is the Minuet Forest death skip glitch allowed by SDA rules? If I have a fairy, I won't technically die, but still. Anyone know?

^ I can't think of any rules that could possibly break. It definitely should be allowed.

The golden scale glitch will be a mix of the following three factors.

1. The fact that going into water or climbing a ladder greys out the B button
2. Not leaving the ground once Link has left the water. (Sidehopping counts as leaving the ground)
3. Z-targetting mode is maintained.
Okay, so I realized I'm forced to do the Adult route now because this segment could save some time in the adult section if I get a fairy for the Minuet of Forest death skip glitch. But I have a few questions first.

1) Will the Minuet of Forest glitch work with a Fairy? Meaning when I come back to life, will I come back to life but still skip the Minuet of Forest cutscene, or will I still have to do the cutscene.

2) If the above question is false, will SDA allow a death in the run?

3) Does the glitch also work with the Bolero of Fire?

4) Completely unrelated, but which is faster: epona, or supersliding?

I have a pretty good route for adult link now. I decided not to buy 30 bombchu and hover to Ganon's castle for the Golden Gauntlets/blue fire. Instead, I'll just buy some Blue Fire as kid link before becoming an adult.

I'm pretty sure if you get hover boots early you can skip the bolero.
yeah, but it's a 100% run. If I skip a song, I wouldn't have gotten everything.
