A glitch keeping you from collecting enemy spoils. A glitch to mess with the camera while L (not Z!) targeting. What may be an easier way to enter JJB without a bottle.

Store a ground jump and hold L. Use the jump so that an enemy hits you during the jump. While still holding L kill the enemy or any other and you can pass through the spoils without collecting them. Take out an explosive before releasing L and the gitch will continue until you drop the explosive. Depending on in which direction Link gets thrown when hit during the jump, he will continue facing that direction while holding L.

For JJB early it is basically just the Shadow Early damage boost with a normal bomb. I have not tried it with a bombchu, but I assume it would be easier IF you can do it without the chu crawling on the fish...

All of those are old.

well that's interesting. if you have the glitched dive meter upgrade (1) you can't steal the rod at all

i suppose it's kinda like the ISG, where there's a small window of time where you can do something as the action icon changes

acryte you were right, if you dive reallllly shallow the # is one higher than its supposed to be. i don't think it works with gold scale

i don't know but i'm pretty sure you can still steal it. i know it didn't stop me in my RBA playthrough.
Hey, guys. About a week ago I found this incredibly weird glitch. A game crasher, too.
What it does, is gives you a temporary superslide  for about a half a second. But you do not need to grab anything. It can also go forward!

To practice I use the deku... things.. at the area in between kokiri forest's main area and the Deku Tree.
To do the glitch, do what you would normally do in a megaflip, but only tap the analogue stick back right before you shield the hit, and do not backflip. It seems random the direction link slides.

When link slides he glitches into the ground! Sometime the game even crashes right when you shield the hit. It's so weird. I found this on master quest while trying to deku baba flip over the gap in the deku tree. Every time I did it Link glitched into the ground and slid forward and hit the other enemy. xD

It works on MQ and VC, so I'm sure it works on all other versions. Has this been found?

Can you make a video?

Without an item? Neat.

this would be excellent, then you don't need bombs etc. to superslide -_- (provided we figure out how to extend it's slidetime indefinitely)!
It could shave time off the run for sure.

When link glitches through the ground, he comes back out after the end of the slide. Although it's possible that he glitches out of bounds on slanted ground.
Link turns slanted, kinda, and half of his body is in the ground. It looks like his legs are poking out of the ground at an angle. But I can't remember correctly. It's very easy to do, though. I'll try to make a video on an emulator, it's the best I can do.

Cheesy Glad to know this might help. Not sure if it works as an adult.

wow it works, it's pretty weird. i haven't froze the game with it yet (playing on collectors edition)

surprised this wasn't found earlier

doesn't work while hovering

I've got a little theory I'm going to test. What if the slide is brought off of the ground? Maybe link's glitchiness could do something nice.
Edit: When done with bombs, link does this weird little loop thing.
Edit: Argh, 3 crashes. When the game crashes it makes this very, very annoying buzzing sound. And link looks like he's squatting.

Toesrus how are you crashing the game?

here's what I've been doing

nayru's love + drop a bomb. shield in front of it

when it explodes, i tap back

if I tap back link flies backwards really fast for a little while, movement looks sort of glitchy
if I hold back, link goes sideways, then forwards, movement doesn't look very glitchy

this is the same for both adult and young link

haven't froze the game once

Oh, I am doing it off of enemies without naryu's love. The game crashes randomly when link shields the attack, about the same time I tap back.

Edit: Wow, I froze it again! This time link disappeared..

wow I just froze the game off of a bomb + nayrus. it happened when I had my back to a ledge and I tapped back as the bomb exploded

i haven't been able to do it off of an enemy yet, despite the fact that i can megaflip off of them 30% of the time

It's really hard on enemies. Try it on the deku stick things in kokiri forest as a kid. Really easy. Or the deku babas.

i made a quick little vid. is it different when you do it off of enemies?

Yes, link glitches into the ground a lot longer. But I think that's about it. Also you slide a lot faster in your video with bombs than I do on enemies.
I'm not your buddy, guay!
Cool trick! I was able to do it off the deku babas without too much trouble in the forest. It hasn't crashed my game yet, done it maybe 10 times.

I had a theory about the loading zone. This trick seems really glitchy and plus when you do it off the babas, you are under the ground for a while. The one baba when I slide off of it I can tell I pass the loading zone because there is that second of lag, but it's right at the end of the slide. Maybe we could use this trick to somehow bypass it and then just go walk out of the forest without any of the textures? I'll keep messing with it.

But even then, we'd need the shield, somewhat negating the whole reason to not do the Nut Hover.

Edit: I was being an incredible idiot.

It still might be faster though...

The game freezes just like it does for CC

damn, I hope it leads to something else, but so far it doesn't look so as promising since it's such a short slide.
Don't think!  feeeeeal
Could you maybe use it to squeeze past things?
Quote from Spider-Waffle:
Could you maybe use it to squeeze past things?

That could be a possible use.
Maybe there's an acute angle you can superslide to clip into, but there is no items to grab and you are out of bombs, just use the speed burst from this trick the push link through.
It could be useful in a no major skips or maybe a 100%.

Why would that clip you through something that a normal superslide couldnt?
If someone figures out how to extend the distance the slide goes, then it could have use by eliminating the need to manipulate for bomb drops to superslide everywhere, but i dont think it can do anything that a normal superslide cant...

That theory about getting through the ground and past loading zones just doesnt seem plausible...
ROFL.
It works in majora's mask! xD
I tried it and link slid forward, deformed a bit, glitched into the ground(looked like he was lieng on his side) and the game crashed.
