What? The game ENDS with the last cutscene. Meaning (like all Zelda games) next time you load it will be at the last save, not after killing Ganondorf. Just don't bother arguing it. If you watch the whole run you'll see it's 100%.

This is something what I wanna hear. When I get my hands to OoT now I'll try this stuff out right away. I have tested this stuff long time ago in 100% save but still I got deku stick on B. Maybe this will turn out for new stuff. Good luck to those guys who try to figure this out!

Ban_Kotomi: why not just keep track of everything the runner collects? print out a checklist and check every item off when the runner gets it.

the main reason the BK run paused at the end (i believe) is to show the final time. he just showed each individual world as a service.

that's what pausing in OoT would be: a service. it could be nice to include, but it's far from required. just like including the final cutscene and credits.

You do have to go through the pedestal of time, but your C-right item still has an effect. Put a bottle on B as adult Link, go back in time, put a certain item on C-right as child Link, go forward in time, and you'll have something on B as adult Link.

Also I'll go ahead and confirm that on my nearly 100% file (missing some Skulltulas and Heart Pieces) I get Hookshot on B when I BA with the Bunny Hood.

Update:
I went ahead and tried to RBA with the Bunny Hood. No noticeable changed to my inventory (I tried Empty Bottle then Bugs). After that, I decided to BA with the Bunny Hood again. Ended up with Bugs on B. Nothing significant, though apparently changing that byte's value from 10 to 29 didn't change anything? I'm sure there's something, though. The game wouldn't just change a value like that sometime through the game for no reason.

Ok, so to do BA with the light arrow cutscene, would I need to have a certain item on child link on c-right when I pick up the master sword and then a certain item when I enter the temple of time on c-right as adult link?

I saw in Kazooies video that he had 25 deku nuts when he walked in which I thought was the number of a fish in a bottle, so why did he have bombs on b after?

The item on C-Right as an adult doesn't matter. You just need a Bottle on B as an adult. He got Bombs on B because he had Bombs on C-right as a child. You could also have a Fish on C-right as a child and 2 deku nuts to get Bombs on B (or a Poe on C-right with 2 Bombchus, etc.)

I hope I am making some sort of sense.

However, I was just planning on using it for the first part of the Ganon fight.

Now, looking back at the end of Manocheese's run, I kind of remembered you could just use deku nuts = /

1st things 1st, I got work so I can't test it, but just grab megaton and see if grabbing that is what it is. If that isn't it, then cool stuff. Otherwise that number may function for something else for that item like swinging speed or damage output or something idk heh, if that was the case, it would be cool if you could change that value to alter the megaton hammer slightly... Sounds interesting though, nice find.

all right I stole the rod on the gamecube version I then walked into the water around the water temple pause and my B button was blank I started messing around and saved the game my Deku Stick was on B I then got the bottle on B put afish on it then started messing around again and I noticed I had the gold scale and the golden guantlets on my hover boots were on the top of my pause screen and I can not put them on or get to them and my wallet's name is writen in Japanese and it is the highest I can get
this allows me to get the fairy at ganons castle early
but i am wondering is this useful in speedruns and if this has happened to anyone else

I have read the entire topic(over the course of a looooooonnnnggg time)
and I dont remember ever reading exactly how to do the RBA glitch. I know how to set up the items, what item does what, and all that just not how to go from deku on B to bottle on B and everything beyond.

Would anyone mind explaining?

We are supposed to use this during current routes to get the quiver bomb bags, black guantlets etc.Check out Cosmo's charts they explain everything

Uh, that's really weird. Now I really wonder what that value is. It definitely can be 0, 1, or 10. Maybe it can be anything from 0 to 10? What would increment it?

Sorry, but Silver Gauntlets require you to RBA a value 128 or higher, which is currently impossible. That video is really cool, though.

If I'm right all others are normal but that bunny hood gives you hookshot. Like I did in my nearly 100% file and other peoles have got it too. I got deku nuts with this way too. So what this is all about? Smiley

Great videoMaxx ! I have done that before and I only think that is for fun. I mean there isn't really use for that water medallion as a child xD. It's just really cool to beat water temple as a child. It will test your skills too.

In file where I got deku nuts I has 11 skulltulas. And my other file where I get hookshot, I had 200 skulltulas xD.

hey I know why you got a lot of those Smiley

Look at my RBA charts, and do it backwards --- zora mask and goron mask became screwed up items because you had a lot of swords/shields and tunics/boots and it wrote that value onto B which is a glitched item.

empty bottle references bottle #3 so if you got empty bottle when you did that it's because your bottle 3 was empty at the time.

red potion references bottle 4

fish is the # of deku nuts, so you must have had 40 at the time to get goron mask

letter is # of arrows so you had 50 arrows at the time giving you the poachers saw

it keeps going like this and you can see why you got all those items
see how that works?

I got the scale but it only lets me dive 2 meters do not know if this helps!

on my file i just beat the water temple and did Bunny Hood BA and got bombs (value 2) on B....

edit: weird I had a backup of that file after fire temple but before water temple and I still got bombs on B

What the hell could change it? Yeasterday I tried to figure it out too. One thing what I can note is that I played while without turning of the console, then I did BA with bunny hood and I got bottle fish to B. Then I started to think could I get it again with playing same way and I didn't remember all that stuff what i did but I didn't got it again. Maybe I did RBA as a child with bunny hood. Sorry! I need to try this stuff again today when I get off from work.

I can make video of that deku nut thing too.

This Bunny hood BA thing is weird. I have a few ideas of what might cause it:

Heart containers (ends at 13?)
Capacity upgrades (any)
Small keys obtained
Items (ends at 10)
Items in equipment (sheilds, swords, boots, tunics)
Songs
Steps completed in adult trade sequence (ends at 10)
Play time (hours)
Skulltulas (in 10's)

I doubt any of these are what causes it, but its worth a shot. I'll experiment with this later today.
