No, they are entirely seperate maps,
ganon_tou_room_# and spot15_room_#
the other maps you are talking about are in the same area,
with only the objects changed.
But maybe if there was a way to **** up the exits.... Wink

you can also get 0, and 20 capacity slingshot. I thought 10 was the most interesting though.

this works cause each slot on LSE takes up 3 bits, but sometimes the bits are in more than 1 byte. i dunno why they take 3 bits when 2 would have worked fine, maybe they were going to add more upgrades. either way there's a third bit for each slot that is never used, the highest one.

there's 8 possibilties for each slot, 000, 001, 010, 011
those are the basic ones. example: no bomb bag, 20 bomb bag, 30 bomb bag, 40 bomb bag.

100, 101, 110, 111. those are the ones that are never used.

this is why you can get messed up stuff like fishing rod and adults wallet into your inventory. it's cause you are using that third bit by "activating it" using RBA.

the video i just made works cause the third bit for slot 1 (child) is stored as the lowest value of the next byte. this is the exact same way the colored gauntlets work.

slots 1 (adult), 2, and 4 have all their bits in the same byte, while slot 1 (child) and slot 3 overlap into the next one.

so all you do is catch a fish or bug (cause they are an odd number) and it puts a 1 in that third, overlapping bit (which is usually never used).

I have a question about the route. I think I remember doing testing awhile back. If you RBA for quiver I don't think you can buy arrows, You need the bow for it to let you buy them. I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure.

Its faster to buy arrows. You only need the quiver to buy them, no bow needed. Your arrow amount will automatically be the amount you bought when you get light arrows. The route skipping milk will probably be faster. Getting milk = 5 min, DC = 3 min.

I was just wondering, because i saw how fast SwordlessLink's Deku Tree TAS was, and how percise the sidehop-turns were. I don't think it's possible to turn that slightly on a keyboard.

N64 TASes don't use controllers they use the 0.6 plugin

Also I've shown him how to improve many parts of his run before and up till the end of the Deku Tree.

Something interesting. You can buy arrows with only the quiver and not the bow, but you can't pick up arrows from grass/pots but with bombs, you can't buy them until you get both the item and the bag. OoT has a lot of strange stuff...

Alright I have a sword and a shield 0 Deku Sticks sling shot with 0 bullets Zelda letter the Fairy ocarina and It won't let me steal the Rod and I also have a bug in my bottle how do I do BA now and can I complete the game I don't understand much of this yet but I am learning slowly Im playing on the gamecube if that makes a difference! Huh?

Sounds to me like you're just having trouble stealing the rod. watch this video again

I uploaded a vid to help some of you in your consistency. You should be able to pull off the skip near 100% of the time. The description has a few good tips in it which can make it a pretty easy trick. Also, I there is nothing special about the bottle, I was just using it to put my swoard away without losing the angle (I forget to put it away before lining it up somethimes ...)

It explains why I only get into the void about 5% of the time, even after a perfect lineup, roll and sidehop. That little move to the right should make a big difference. Smiley

The spacing is almost pixel perfect. In fact, you have to press forwards on the control stick while you bring the hookshot out if you want to get it... I think it gives you an extra pixel or 2. Because you have to press forward like that, so far I have been unable to do it without ISG... but maybe its possible idk.

you also know that if you die with something on B that it will turn back to a deku stick right? This is pretty common knowledge :S Keep that in mind since you can deathwarp AND get a dekustick on B without needing to go back to the fishing pond.

I've managed to do the trick in about 7 sec so far, so I know a good segment can do it quickly.
