I was looking around on the site and I couldn't find a clear cut 100% OoT definition and the conditions that have to be met. On the net and even Zelda wiki there seem to be conflicting statements. I was just wondering because I am going to be attempting a 100% no damage run for fun on youtube sometime soon and need to help plan stuff out before.

Thanks!

Thanks! ^^

Edit: I just realized it doesn't say all upgrades, but I imagine that's intended?

30 deku sticks, 40 deku nuts, 40 bombs, 50 arrows, 50 slingshot bullets, and 50 bombchu's?

SDA's definition says "-Zelda Ocarina of Time: all hearts, upgrades, bottles, skulltulas, songs (note: I have no idea what to cut out if anything, maybe bottles or songs... songs show up in quest status though)"

I read that already yeah, but the "I have no idea what to cut out" Makes me think they're not even sure yet ^^

We have a 100 % run listed on site that abides by the 'I have no idea what to cut' rules, so yes, they're legit for SDA as far as I can tell Wink

So doesn't even count getting all items? If you really think about it, because it says only all upgrades. So by definition with SDA rules couldn't you skip Ice Arrows, biggoron's sword, golden scale, din's fire/FW/NL etc. I think that's kind of weird. I like the Zeldaspeedruns.com definition better. Gonna go with that. Smiley Oh, but +all upgrades.

That listed 100% run gets all of those items, so I suppose the confusion here is that "all upgrades" is a superset of all items, but isn't always read as such.
The definition given at AGDQ was you needed to get the most-upgraded version of each individual item, but could skip lower upgrades.  The only place this was relevant was that you skip all but the golden gauntlets.  However, you still get all magic, biggoron's sword, all magic arrows, etc.

I am not up to date on item quantity allocations but the max upgrades for arrows, wallets, sticks, and nuts stack so you have to get both bags/quivers. The games checks to see what you have/don't have and awards accordingly. I could be wrong though.

You're definitely right about everything except wallets. I have no clue if you are right about wallets, because I always got the first one as soon as possible … ^^' Capitalist me.

Getting Biggoron's sword automatically means you skip the 'longsword' you can buy off Medigoron. But no-one would ever buy that, since it's essentially useless Wink And I would also assume, he skipped the silver scale, although I was on a train during that part of the run =(

Also note that 'all items' specifically does not include 'maxed out those items whose quantities are limited' So you're essentially done with buying one wonder bean (instead of the 10 the game would allow you to buy maximum).
HELLO!
Yeah, pretty sure it's SDA standard that if the game doesnt' have an in-game percentage, then the final form of any upgrade is the only one that counts.  So skipping a sword in the middle is fine.
