As some people may have heard - A few of us from the #smw channel and others are having a marathon to help with transportation costs for getting to AGDQ 2013. The money raised will be split evenly on a need basis among those runners attending the marathon and are going to AGDQ. Right now we have a schedule of about 58 hours with a pretty solid lineup we're excited about.

The donation incentives, schedule and prizes are on the webpage in the tabs below the stream.

The purpose of posting about this here is to build some hype and spread some word about the marathon. None of us have any clue how many people are going to watch. If you would like to commentate get in contact with the runner to see if they need help with commentating their game. We're going to run commentary through a mumble channel that is streamed live.

And... A Week Of Garfield cart? Now that's something ^^

Edit: Short suggestion - on the LLK Marathon they had the information about Stream-Switching on the idle-background image. I think this is a really good idea, as not everyone will be aware that the streams are simply switching after games for other runners. As in, preventing: "Oh... Is this over now? I'll go back to play then"

The games are mostly famicom/super famicom - yggdrizzle just gave me a list with all the versions/etc. Thanks for brining that up im going to update the schedule.

With the stream switching.. thats a good idea. We are going to have stream switches less often because of the way we are broadcasting things.. but it will still go down from time to time over the marathon. Thanks!
