Well, im done with Ninja Gaiden. If Exo has 11:57 RTA, the time that i would have to put down on that... not worth it.

Looking forward to your final run Exo.

And with RTA timing its about 2.5s faster when counting SDA. So you're down at 11:54 atm i think?

at least i have the fastest NES-run. ;)))))

New NG2 PB at 10:48, got during practice at AGDQ. No video though :\ I'll eventually beat it in a recording, no worries.

I was witness to this because we were doing casual races. Also the time was probably closer to 10:45-46 because I started the timer at pressing start on the title screen and ended it at triple zeros.

Congratulations, Duckfist! I just watched it, and it looked even better than I thought it would. I can't believe that old Hotarubi video is no longer the fastest.

Also, to update the times in NGII, I got 10:55 the other day and Vugmer got 11:15 a few weeks ago.

Ok, Practicing stage 1 and 2 over and over again till I found a good route. I feel that stage 2 is gonna be the hardest to learn. Sad

It dawned on me recently that I didn't beat Hotarubi yet in NG2, so that is what I'm working on. I'm currently at 10:44.

i remember duckfist saying in one of his streams he wasn't sure if 215 was possible for 1-1. i got one tonight, so i figured i'd highlight it and post it:http://www.twitch.tv/jimmypoopins/c/1951276. i screamed out "215!" when i got it and messed up and hit my split super early as well.

edit: sorry for bad quality of stream, and this is for ninja gaiden 2 if you couldn't tell

Did anyone notice that alpl (who published his NG1 any% 11:59 emu RTA and low% 12:42 real nes platform RTA in nicovideo ) published his NG2 10:27 emu RTA recently? Although I wonder it's reliable...

I test the route used in the run and it's doable. And some strategies are rather tough (The two round kill of Boss 3 may partly explain why alpl didn't reset after getting 217 in 2-1).If the run is true,it reminds me of Heidman's improvement of Contra :-)

I agree, syzn, that the route is doable, although I'm not sure exactly what rules the Japanese runners play by.

I enjoyed watching it, and I see alpl has higher standards than I do. I don't think I will be breaking 10:30 in this game.
