Right off the bat I want to say I have checked out the FAQ's when it comes to submitting runs. I MAY have missed something that could help in me learning to submit a run so if that is the case let me say sorry ahead of time.
So a couple days ago I decided that since I've been watching runs on twitch and JTV for so long I'd give running a game a whirl. I was told by a friend that going for a run is as simple as using my capture card and recording my run. So I recorded a run that I believe after some research is the record (or I could be lying to myself lol) now I go to submit it on SDA and I come across these probably noobish questions:
What does encoding a run mean? And how do I go about getting my video file encoded?
How do I do a "Video quality test"? And is it required?
I know NOW that posting my RUN on Youtube is not allowed, so where do I go about sending my video file?
ONCE AGAIN if these are part of the FAQ's I apologize. Nonetheless REALLY excited to get my run hopefully verified.
