I haven't seen the ps3 yet... but i like sony so i'd probably choose that anyway.

Edit: stopped being a lazy bastard:

xbox 360: doesn't do it justice, my sister says it looks like a kettle.

ps3: stylish, but the controller looks a bit crap.

nintendo revolution: doesn't actually look brilliant, but practical at least  Tongue

Overall ps3 is most stylish by far!
Speed is the key.
Nintendo Revolution. Now thats video game revolution.

Right, cuz the look of a console matters  Wink

If (big if) Nintendo makes decent use of the Rev controller, then they win me over. If not, the PS3 still looks like it'll be a great console.

DS is far superior to the PSP in terms of gaming.
play old game of nintendo on revolution owned me :!

and both DS an dPSP are bad for me, GBA SP =)
You shall not check how good the console is. It is the games that's important...

That was the question...

But anyways I mostly agree. Though I couldn't ever see myself buying a nintendo product, it has brilliant potential. I'm a ps fan so that might be the reason. the xbox seems like the ps2.5, and the original i have mostly gathers dust. we'll see...

PS3? Stylish? If you like printers, maybe... or breadboxes...

I think the Revolution is far and away the best-looking of the next three. And it'll probably be the only one I get at launch.

I always thought it looked like an answering machine... with a bat-arang.

It does have an uncanny resemblance to my bread-box now that you mention it. I'm going to go with none then.

But I do think the ps3 will be the best For The Games, nintendo could do better but it's a much lower chance.

I have zero money so if I get half of one at christmas i can save up and get my new console based on abundant reviews...
btw, go look at the price of a xbox in ebay since there isnt anymore in store (i think)

$8,000 ?!?

That's the highest price I could find with a "credible" highest bidder.  (Two had 10,000 prices, but bidders had 0 feedback rating).

Are you kidding me?

3 New XBOX 360s Premium Pkg + 4 Games on Hand -Rdy2Ship

Yes, I read it all.

Divide 8100 by 3.

2700 per system (with game/accesories per each).

Ludicrous.

More crazy, is that someone actually put a 6000 dollar bid for it. Who would of thought that someone would actually pay that kind of money.

I heard something about that the PS3 would cost $700 at launch. I haven't been able to confirm it, although I think that might be the case. Madness... You could get 2 XBox 360 or 4 Revolutions for that money. Almost...

My plans are still unchanged though meaning I'll get a Revolution at launch. And maybe a PS2 when they get really cheap after PS3 launch. Also, the Revolution looks best of the three.

Alot of people always say that about the new nintendo systems, but the sad truth is after a short time people will turn its back on the latest system.dont get me wrong, i like nintendo and always supported them, but its sad to see it happen. still i hope it does well,. and i'll still get one.

I highly doubt Sony would do something so stupid as to launch a system at over double what was, essentially, the launch price of consoles in the previous generation. 3DO launched at such a price and completely flopped. Sony is aware of that and wouldn't repeat history.

Since the two-price tag method for X360 seems to have a generally negative outlook, esspecially when the core package only exists to make the premium look more attractive. I doubt Sony will follow. I expect a simple $400 launch price, and only the core system, HDTV cables, 1 wireless controller, and possibly (though doubtful) a demo sampler disc.

As for looks, the "Fridge/Printer" PS3 and Revolution, neither are in final stage. So there's no point in crying over your "printer" hooking up to your "modem" in your gaming area. Wink
oh yeah huh? Good point.

I do not think I will turn my back on Nintendo. The only consoles I have currently are Nintendo.

And as for PS3 launch price... The XBox cost about that when it was released here. Which made Microsoft lower the price within weeks and give out coupons for free games to everyone who got it before the price drop. Especially with the quite a lot cheaper GameCube being released at the same time. (Within a week.) And also I heard something about the main CPU in the PS3 costing about $500 only that.
Well now i dont feel so alone. Smiley

I'm probably going to be getting a Revolution first for the lower price, but not at launch.  How close to launch I get it will depend on what games come out when.
