Offering services to install the NESRGB board available here, I've installed over 15 of these now and pretty confident with the work:

http://etim.net.au/shop/shop.php?crn=207&rn=536&action=show_detail

This board allows lossless video output, s-video and improved composite video from a NES console

RGB capture screenshots taken using NESRGB's I've installed:

Example installations I have done:

(Ignore the extra circuit board, I do not offer that service publically):

Pricing:

AV Famicom installation including palette switch $45 + shipping
Front Loader/Top Loader NES installation with mini din 8 for RGB $50 + shipping. Svideo port installation +$5 for a total of $55.

You supply the board and the NES console, I do not sell pre-modded consoles.

PM with interest or other inquiries.  Thanks.

All the things
Looking very nice. Some quick questions:

-What capture card are you using to take the output?
-Can the RGB sync to normal TVs or is it capture only?
-Is the new mod compatible with your earlier composite mods, as in it's not a major hassle to undo/redo things?

PEXHDCap.

RGB will work with any rgb compatible TV.  Otherwise, S-video looks very nice for the NES.

Yes, reversible.  RCA jacks will remain for audio.  Composite rca jack would be replaced by the RGB mini din.  If you want s-video as well, I think the RF adaptor could be removed for the mini din there.
HELLO!
I'm going to throw out here that the AV Famicom mod is really good because you can use an SNES multi-out cable.  That's what I have. It's beautiful.  I just use the same cable to get RGBS out of the SFC and the FC.

After reading this post http://www.universalppu.com/?p=320  *
I am be interested with this mod sometime in the future but not now.  I currently have an AV Famicom and tried to remove the security screws underneath the console, unfortunately one of the screws is a bit smaller and I didn't have a specific Gamebit size to remove it.
If I do order a NESRGB kit, is it possible to send it to your address as I'm from the UK and it saves a bit of money(?).

* I was going to wait for UniversalPPU but as of the latest post, a board suitable for a NES/Famicom may take a long time, it was originally intended for users of the arcade systems.

Yes, that's perfectly fine.  I don't mind receiving the PCB at my address.
HELLO!
Wow, UniversalPPU is coming along? Nice.  I'm sure adapter boards will come along for it...
Received both rgb-modded toploaders back and they work great!  The quality of absolutely phenomenal.  ConHuevos is now my unofficial blood brother!  His enemies are my enemies and all that jazz

Taiyaki's NES:

Haters gonna hate
Got my NES back with S-video/RGB mod from ConHuevos today. The quality is amazing! There's a huge difference going to s-video from composite and it really shows.

If you have a lot of interest in NES games and can afford the board and mod, I HIGHLY recommend getting this mod. It's incredible! And ConHuevos does great work.

Thanks Mecha, unfortunatley I will no longer be doing this as I don't have the time with work and school this fall.  So the days of coming out of work and doing this for 3 hours after I get home from a full day and only having a hour to myself before the cycle starts all over again are gone.

It's been fun and glad I could help out the community.  I will probably still do this for friends I've met on here if they need it but the stress of having so many things to do is getting to me and it's time to call it quits.

Sorry to hear that, but totally understandable.  Thanks for all the great stuff you've done for the community - it's certainly been appreciated!

I'm looking to pick up where ConHuevos left off.

For the time being I'll stick to selling pre-modded consoles. But as time goes on I'm planning to do other mods as well. Including S-video for Sega Genesis.

Well, here's hoping someone doesn't crack a console open and find it full of hot glue and cold solder joints :P.  It's important to show your work.
Where are you listing your for sale consoles, Edenal? I'm sad I discovered this thread after ConHuevos ceased his work, as it looks fantastic.

I may take some commissions on in the oncoming month.  My school load has been much lower than I anticipated and deadlines for work are almost over (October 15th).  I won't be doing the NES av mods anymore however, but should still be able to do NES RGB's.
Cool, I'll keep an eye on this thread.

That's my reason for initially only wanting to sell pre-modded. Quality assurance.

I'll be listing them in a separate thread. Most likely starting this weekend.

Going to start taking commissions for these again.  If the work load gets too harsh again I will just take a temporary hiatus.  It shouldn't be too bad as the AV mod's were the ones really taking their toll on me with random people signing up on the forum to take advantage of the community price.
I echo Mecha's sentiments, my NES now sports pixels sharp enough to cut a fool. Now I just need to replace this crappy 72 pin connector.
HELLO!
Opened up my Famicom AV today, previously NESRGB modded by OP, in order to pop some heatsinks on the CPU and PPU.

I wanted to say that looking at it firsthand, the work is immaculate. Wires, soldering, it's all beautiful, clean work.
All my nes games look beautiful on my nesrgb modded consoles thanks to Con Huevos, highly recommend his work. A+++++++++

Rejoice my fellow SDA comrades for our glorious leader Mike Uyama may now revel in the fact that he sports a NES with RGB and S-Video functionality.  I can only hope this will please our benevolent tyrant.
