I recall a page which had native dzip support, so you could point quake at a .dzip and it'd play it without needing to unzip it beforehand. What was it called, and where can I find it? Or am I misremembering and there isn't such a port.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
Joequake should do it (but you need dzip).

you can find joequake at http://www.runecentral.com/joequake/
and dzip at http://speeddemosarchive.com/dzip/
you shoul put the file http://speeddemosarchive.com/dzip/dzip.exe in the quake directory.

JoeQuake actually comes with a dzip.exe if I remember rightly, and yes it will play a .dz by extracting it, playing it, then cleaning up afterwards.
