Remembered something that I forgot
My wsplit works fine and I actually can run when i was running another game called Sang-froid. however when i am running sequence none of the key buttons I put on wsplit never respond in game. when i click outside of the game it immediately works perfectly fine. I thought maybe it just the type of timer but it did the same thing with llanfair. I thought it maybe the game itself but someone else that speedruns the game uses llanfair perfectly fine.

Any idea why I can't use it in game?

I don't know why and i had this same problem. Solution was installing livesplit, it works fine for me and it's better than wsplit.

Maybe global Hotkeys is not turned on. Sounds like it.

Right click the timer > Configure > Global hotkeys tab. Make sure "enabled" is ticked and you have it toggled on.

He said that wsplit works for him for other games, so he must have enabled hotkeys.

Yeah I enabled hotkeys. I tried both disabled and enabled when testing it out on my own.
