Never give up!
The Contra one works in a lot of Konami games, to my knowledge, except with slightly different effects.  (And there was a very tricky modification to it in one of the Gradius games I think...)

For Doom, you made a typo on that first code - it's 'IDDQD'.

As for Starcraft?  The one I remember there is 'power overwhelming'.  EDIT: And I think there was the 'there is no cow level' code as well.

Speaking of the Cow Level, that's a pretty well-known Diablo 2 secret: Complete a difficulty, then go to Act 1 in that difficulty and combine Wirt's Leg with a Tome of Town Portal in the Horadric Cube.

I can't think of any others myself at the moment, but I'll get back to you on this if I do.

Incorrect.

Up Down Left Right A+Start = Stage Select
Up C Down C Left C Right C A+Start = Debug.

Doom:
IDDQD - Degreelessness mode (invulnerable)
IDKFA - All keys, all ammo
IDFA - All ammo, no keys
IDDT - Reveils map, type twice to get enemies
IDCLEV(e)(m) - Warps to a certain map
IDMUS(e)(m) - Get music from another level
IDChoppers - Chainsaw
IDSPISPOPD - No Clip (for Doom only)

Doom 2:
IDCLEV and IDMUS change. For the codes you just type in the level number, instead of the episode, then the map. So like IDCLEV30 or IDCLEV01.
IDCLIP - No Clip (for Doom 2 only)

StarCraft
Show me the money - Vespene gas and minerals increased by 10000
Whats mine is mine - Minerals increased by 500
Breathe deep - Vespene gas increased by 500
Something for nothing - Everything is upgraded once, and you cannot increase upgrading (atleast from what I remember O.o)
Operation cwal - Anything you want to build or upgrade is done instantly
Modify the phase variance - Build anything without having to tech up to it
Medieval man - Free energy using upgrades to units (Science Vessel now has Irradiate)
The Gathering - Infinite energy
noglues - Enemy cannot use energy abilities
Power overwhelming - Invulnerable
Black Sheep Wall - Full map (still can't see cloaked units)
Food for thought - Ignore your supply, just keep on building those units!
There is no cow level - Skips level
Staying alive - Continue playing after initial mission ends
Man over game - Win game
Game over man - Lose game
War aint what it used to be - Remove the fog of war (not the same as Black Sheep Wall. Walk a unit through the fog of war, then walk him back. You can still see through it).

There's other StarCraft cheats in campaign that allow you to warp missions, but I don't know how they work:
Terran(Mission number. Continues for the other two races. Just type the race then the number, no spaces)
And the last cheat is "Ophelia," which enables mission select..... Do with that one what you will....

Half-Life
First load up the console and type in "sv_cheats 1" After that, what I do is load my saved game up again, then go back into the console so the cheat codes work:
/god - God mode
/noclip - No clip
/impulse 101 - Everything, with full ammo
(There's also an item and level select for Half-Life. Um, look on the internet for that one.....)

Unreal Tournament
(The ones that I do know. Just have to load up the console ~ for this one)
god - God mode
loaded - All weapons
allammo - Full ammo
fly - Flight mode
ghost - No clip
walk - Disable flight and no clipping modes
killpawns - Kill all

And there's a tonne more, which I don't know).

NARPAS SWORD - Metroid (NES)
Precursor
Yeah, definitely the Konami Code.

Also, I believe that impulse 9 is pretty well-known...

And Warcraft II. It is a good day to die!
I know loads of the GTA cheats, but its weird. When i try and think of them i don't know it. But if i have a joypad in my hands my fingers can just put it in without thinking.

If you're doing it, you need ------ ------ on the bottom line.

I heard that Bailey is apparantly the Australian word for "swimsuit".  Just In Swimsuit.  Heh.

It was a random password generation fluke. NARPASSWORD, however, was added as an extra.

IDCLIP - No Clip (for Doom 2 only)

How else was I supposed to get to the secret Wolfenstein level?  Wink
If I remember correctly...

000000 000020
000000 000020

Metroid (NES)
Speed is the key.
It´s strange, but a couple of years ago I played Star Wars: Rogue Squadron alot. I (sigh) also used the invincibility cheat a couple of times.

Thing is I still remember it very clearly.

It´s: JPVI?IJC RSBFNRL

I don´t think I´ll ever forget it for some reason.

And another Warcraft II cheat, "on screen" I remember from a long time ago.

Load up "Industrial Zone," run up to the pillar in the lava, keep pressing space on it until you open the door, run to get the invulnerability, trigger the switch, press it, jump down to the door, take the path in that room down below and enter into the teleporter ^_^;
Mario 1 warp zones and Level 0.
I remember the Sonic 3D Blast password, which is BARACUDA. (B + A + right + A + C + up + down + A).

Heroes 3 had passwords that were quotes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In the later expansions I think they switched to Star Wars quotes.
DYDDY  (Down Y Down Down Y, spelling Diddy)

50 lives in DKC Grin

And then there's the TUFUST code (I dunno if I spelled it right) for DKC3.
