I just watched the first segment and to me this looks well planned and executed.
I can't see any real mistakes, but maybe some minor flaws. But I have no idea how hard this game is or if the game mechanics work the way I imagine. So what I noticed may be unavoidable or caused by randomness.

At about 2:27 you seem to lose about a second because you got stuck at that guard before killing him.
At about 2:48 you seem to lose about half a second by not grabbing 9mm ammo immediately.
At about 3:06 you got beaten up and lost some seconds.
At 4:12 you got smacked down again and place a bomb. Was that just to kill the guards or did you need to place a bomb near those terminals?

Do you get full health at the beginning of the second level?
If yes, the health pack at about 4:50 and the one right before the boss were a waste of time.


The video quality seems ok to me, at least in the first segment - who cares for loading screens Wink
If Rapidshare stops messing with me, I could comment on the second segment either  Angry

But what you said about the game being translated horribly is essentially true.
"Bürotaste".
What the fuck is that?
Did they really translate "office key" like that? "Bürotaste" would be something like "office button".

Did you test the translator you linked to?
At least for translating your postings back into german, it as funny as it is useless Grin
And I think in most cases one's better off with a(n online) dictionary.

Video 01 Answer Comments

In the minutes 02:27 ->
This is the Fight modus Situation, you stand very near on the Enemy and you will freezes. The Game will, you must Fight. That is one big Problem of the Game.

In the minutes 02:48 -> this is big mistakes from me...

In the minutes 03:06 -> that right , that is a Luck Situation

In the minutes 04:12 & 04:20 -> They must kill Enemy for a higher
Combo Level, also later for full Health.
I need more Points, for the Three Triple X Combo.
They can observe this on top on the right on screen.
Also I had made a big mistakes, I have to fast press the "Select Button",
before Exploding the other "Zünder".

In the minutes 4:50 ->
I need later in the play this health pack.
They will recognise this later, this was necessary.
Later in the Game you must Long way go, to find other Healt Packs.
Very necessary in the Levels which you must Shooting on the other
Enemy which have also Shooting Weapons.
The most Health Packs is used for the Boss Jarek , you need many very Luck to Fight
with him, I am use 4 Health Packs for Jarek.

Can you Speak German ?
My Problem is to write English Text, but read a English Text is not so a Problem for me.
You can ask "nate" he can Perfect speak German, but he has some Problems with my Strong German
Spoke.
I think to write in next Time both in a Topic, the Original German Text and my self Translate English Text.

Extra Notes from the Translate Select German in the Option from the Game.

All FMV videos are in English and not German.

The first Key ~01:48 in German Settings = "taste"
English Original Settings = "power room key"

The second Key ~03:50 in German Settings = "Bürotaste"
English Original Settings = "security keycard"

The Weapon in German Option Text "m.g." , has a Original Name in English Setting "machine gun".

But the worst Translate is in Level 2 & 3 , to combination the Text to a Password.

I just finished watching the second segment and it looks good. You actually make the game look quite easy and shooting a lot of enemies before they're visible may lower the entertainment value, but shows that you know the game in and out.

If the rest of the run is similar, then I'm sure it will be accepted Smiley
Also the video quality looks really good for a VHS capture. There's no flickering and such in the second segment.


Medi Packs:
Argh! I should have noticed they appear in the Menu. Makes perfect sense now...

Ah, third segment down and watched. Pretty much the same as the second one. Straight running between necessary points that's only interrupted by shooting, weapon switching and placing explosives.
I now understand what you said abour Jarek. That guy deals a good amount of damage per hit - and also hits Grin
Maybe it would be possible to take less damage in the actual stage and one time, near the start of the video, it looked like you wasted some time in the menu. But overall it looks pretty good Smiley

If just Rapidshare wouldn't be such a pain in the ass with waiting times, I'd also comment on segment four.

It's interesting to hear that nate's speaking german, but what exactly do you mean by "spoke"? Dialect, accent or talking speed?
Additionally posting your original german text is a good idea, as translating into a foreign language often kills trenchancy and blurs the meaning.

My favorite so far is "digitale taste", but the password sentences very also funny Grin
Writing MG in german seems ok to me, it's the correct and usual abbreviation for "Maschinengewehr", but why didn't they translate sniper Huh?

Thanks for your thinking about this Run is good enough for Accepting for SDA.

But it gives a small Problem.

For me is this own Video, not good enough for me.
I know for me self, it can be played faster.
I have pay for a new copy of the Game, it will come to me home later.

So comes Later a new Run Video from the Game.
The first new plan in the Game, is to select in the Option the language
in English.
Also more Perfections, better tactics and also fast shooting to the Enemy.

You say "shooting a lot of enemies before they're visible", you have right
that is one of the hardest of the running.
But the most of the game play is every Luck, to have finish the run in good segments.
Every Replay is other, the Enemy will moved always different.
The biggest Problem is the Boss "Jarek", that is really Luck.

The first Run in German select language and the second Run in English language.
The German Version is Online and the improved English version comes later...

Please do not misunderstand, "nate" can very good translate German.
I mean , I am coming from a old school, with strong german speak / or
the loud speak.
The other problem is, to translate both Texts, that will many time lost.

I see no way for me to Replay the Game, for a better Time.
The Problem is, I find not a new Copy of the Game.
Also my PSX System can not more Read Backups, so I brought the Original PAL Disc.  Cry

I know for me self, it can be played faster.
