Basically for the TAS jump you want to perform a full height double jump from the highest point that the game allows you to do so, which is quite a few pixels above the ground with proper set up for some reason. All I do is double jump, then double jump. If you're standing in the right spot and have proper timing that's all you need to do.
Super solid run from Hotorubi, though there's obviously room for improvement (mostly from the escape from what I see). A couple of his boss strats appear slightly faster than what I've been practicing. His stage 3 and stage 6-1 bosses are particularly impressive.
