On a much more serious note, I've found TNT in my house twice, this time it blew up my house. I didn't lose too much, but this time, the TNT used was crafted from materials in my chests.

Bjorn blamed me for stealing his wool, saying I must have done it because I was the only one online, then blew up my house, then banned me.

Ok man, let me lay this out. You were online, I was online, no one else. I put out some wool in my house, right next to yours, clearly visible from where you were. I went downstairs, got more colors, came back and it was gone. Wool doesn't vanish in a neat little line where you place it. It was in reach of the ground and not even 2 seconds walking from you. You had to have stolen it, NO ONE ELSE was online lol. As for the TNT: the second time, I really dont know. The firs time was me, I told you it was a warning for shooting arrows at me randomly. You are now banned for stealing. I didn't want to do that, but after the random arrows bull$%!t you weren't really on my good side... Goodbye!

"Wool doesn't vanish in a neat little line where you place it." .... 5 minutes later..... Well, I can't say I dont try to be fair lol. I placed some more wool in a line, as a test, in my basement. It vanished before my eyes... I'll unban you I suppose, the ban was for stealing, but watch it. I still haven't forgiven you for those arrows.... I added some materials for your house back to your inventory as well, I did demolish it to be reused lol... I feel bad now. Not too bad though. Arrows....

I don't think anyone wants any drama, so lets not blow this out of proportion. Literally all that this caused was a short time when I Have No Name couldn't play and a short while he has to rebuild, with resources already supplied. Not, honestly, all that bad.

I think we should put this all behind us. I hope that anyone who does feel inclined to some thievery takes this as a warning.

Any word on when, if ever, the server will be on 24/7? I have plans with that unknown wilderness I found, and beyond, but I'll need more then the 4 hours I can be on to so anything significant with it

I've got no clue about the server, you'll have to ask Bjorn when you see him on.

I also read in a youtube comment that sandstone cannot be climbed over by spiders, can anyone confirm/deny this? It isn't on the wiki, but the patch is still new.

Notch also said he lowered all spawn rates slightly <3

I was just reading over the patch notes on the MC wiki:

Gold tools can remove blocks like stone and wood much more quickly than their diamond counterparts, with the same durability and restrictions as before 1.2.

This needs testing

EDIT: After starting a new SP world and having the WORST luck to date (no iron in the cave so I dug a shaft. Found, in order: Coal, Gold, Redstone, Diamond, and FINALLY Iron) I tested this theory with a Gold pick, shovel and axe, mining cooked stone, dirt and plain wood respectively. Compared to Stone tools, Gold is indeed notably faster, although I don't know if it's faster than Diamond tools. I don't think it will matter either, because Gold tools are still as durable as wood, that is, not.

Hrm. Might be useful to use in quarries or other places where inventory space doesn't matter at all. I'll stick with diamond for now though, seems like the ludicrously short durability would make them impractical.

I used to play on this server now for some time, but the server admin bjorn is a bit hard for me to understand:

SOme chatting between.. I got kicked and rejoined the server... bjorn sez: "no speekers" or something like that
I ask: why
he said: "you = dick to me"
and I asked: do you want to know what I think about you?"
and I git kicked - again Smiley

If you want to play there, be nice to everyone, no kidding around, seriously!

Otherwise its a nice server, awesome city, nice terrain and stuff, not much diamond left in the lower area but there's still more in the outback.

Bjorn and Royhess don't much like each other. Please don't flip any birds to anyone though.

I think that, as a general rule, kindness to everyone is a good practice. Bjorn and I were referencing a previous discussion (and a youtube video) in that screenshot, which is why the text is a little disjointed. Perhaps calling Bjorn childish was out of line, perhaps the responding kick was out of line, whatever.

We can all play in peace if we all just let the little stuff slide. And don't insult Bjorn anyone ;0

Also, make sure the inside of your house is well lit, I've found 2 skeletons, 3 zombies and a creeper (not all at once) in the large hall type building next to bjorns.

Mobs seem to do weird things with light. Soon I'll just make 8 stack of torches and place them haphazardly around Wheatley. And that's a promise.

In good news, most of the wall is done, all of the sea walls (v1, may need improvement) and the tree farm.

The back of the Dye shop was also well lit before the house behind it had grown to full size, but there's a chance those creatures might have come from elsewhere, I've seen a skeleton lurk out in the back area thereabout as well.

Really disappointed my squid aquarium isn't working.
