After three tries at downloading this, each time I have gotten (usually around 70-80%, ~= 10 hours of downloading) an "Error" message on the download status screen. I've gotten that before, and usually I can restart the download, but with this file I can't. Is there anything wrong with the file that anybody has noticed, or does my computer just suck?

There's a Europe and a US link so try the other, but this must be very irritating - I suggest you use something like Wget (just google it and find a download), then you can resume your file transfers.
