By suggesting that the section be added (my guess) or just from the high quality of his work?

Run quality discussions take me back, but I'm mostly at peace with the "posting an improvable run leads to competition" policy.
Never give up!
I know we're just about truly off-topic now, but Mike, I'd like to ask some things about your strategy in Metal Slug 3.  (Note that my questions arose after playing an emulated arcade version of Metal Slug 3, so there may be a couple of discrepancies in specifics.)

1: Do you take the up-then-down route in the first stage?  Or does it turn out that using the walkers with dual vulcans (for other peoples' reference, those appear on any other route right before the boss - the one I mentioned yields a normal Metal Slug tank) is faster?  I truly find it hard to imagine using those walkers to kill the boss in one life.

2: In the second stage, do you utilize the zombification aspect right at the end (by taking a hit from one of the last three zombies) to take out those aliens?  I mean, as far as I've been able to tell, it's much riskier (since it's harder to dodge alien plasma, and it DOES kill you even if you're zombified) but if you have spare bombs (to use the zombie vomit attack, which deals craploads of damage last I checked) it also turns out to be quite a bit faster.  If you do use this, I'm also interested in knowing whether zombification protects against the pillar attack from the stage's REAL boss.

3: As far as the fourth boss.... dodging the ghost attack and the 'flesh to gold' attack (the purple ray; as far as my nickname for it, get hit by it and see) seem easy enough even with my lesser amount of skill, but how on earth do you dodge those accursed needles (whether red OR gold)?

4: I can only imagine it is quite difficult to dodge the plasma balls from the first 'alien brain' boss in the final mission once they're fired large.  Is there some secret to that?
My feelings on The Demon Rush
1.  I take the top route in the first stage. It is by far the fastest.

2.  Yes, I get zombified for the group of aliens.  Whether I can hit him with one or two puke attacks depends on what the boss does.  After puking once or twice I collect the medpack so I can turn normal again.  I have never tried to puke against the real boss.

3.  The red needles are easy to dodge.  Simply go under the boss while it charges up the attack, then alternate between walking left and right as it fires the needles.  When the boss turns red, simply alternate walking left and right faster.  The gold needles attack really sucks because it's so random, but I have the best chance of dodging it if I stay right below the boss and react from there.

4.  This boss is actually very easy.  The trick is to divide the area into three zones: left, middle, and right.  When the boss starts firing the huge energy balls wait until the energy ball charges up for a second or two, then walk into the next zone (for example, left to middle) until you hit the left or right area.  Just keep on doing this going left and right until the boss dies.

OT:  I see you're finally updating your arcade runs site;  I look forward to seeing the new runs.  Since I last talked to you I haven't made many attempts on Punisher, though I probably will now that you've updated.

More OT: Aqua, I'm glad I just found your arcade runs from this thread. I haven't watched any but I will definitely check out the DDSOM when you make that 8 mins improvement. And I would also like to see Cadash, to see the arcade version if nothing else.
